Just saw... dang, I missed the name of the episode... the new one. :P Where it turns out that Gus got married and his "Best man was a goat??? I was supposed to be that goat!" LOL! Shawn was so funny in this one. :D Yeah yeah, I know, he's always funny... OK, he was cuter in this one. :P

I was introduced to this show a couple of months ago by my best friends. They loaned me the season 1 dvds (just finished watching them Friday), and I'm catching every episode I can in the reruns on Sleuth and USA. Looking forward to the new season premier in August. :D

I agree, Shawn has taken quite a bit of getting used to -- he's absolutely shameless. I like him now, though -- I laugh at all his "psychic episodes." :P I love the banter he and Gus have, and the interactions between him and Lassiter and him and his dad. And him and Jules. . . ;)

Thus far my favorite eps have been "Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead" (maybe because I'm such an Egyptian enthusiast :P), "Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast," and "Poker? I Hardly Know Her!"

So glad Killdeer put a link to this thread in the "Psych" social group. :D

I didn't get into Jules/Shawn in the beginning either, it was actually in S2 I started getting into them ;)

Yeah I used to watch murder she wrote all the time when I was younger, still catch an ep eher or there, it's on some channels on Sky :D Can't remember which though.

Yes she did get better, I can't really remember her in S1 :o Maybe that's why I didn't see possible ship between her and Shawn till S2 :p

As much as I love Psych's more comedic episodes, most of my favorites are more drama heavy. "An Evening with Mr. Yang" and "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark" are probably in my personal favorites of the series so far too.

IMO Psych does have some bad episodes; due to the plot dragging, the characterization is off or something overall just doesn't mesh with the way the show is. I didn't really like 'Shawn has the Yips' this season but that's just my prefrence.

They split the season up between summer/winter is so they can catch the most ratings when the basic cable stations are on hiatus. Also so they don't have to compete with shows like NCIS/CSI/Mentalist/Reality Shows for the ratings.

That promo was flat-out hilarious!:lol: Not sure if it tops the 'Ebony & Ivory' one they did a few years ago, but it definitely serves as further proof that USA has the best marketing campaign on TV currently. Perhaps ever. Love the psych-outs too.

I don't think I've ever seen a bad promo for Psych. I've loved all of them. The psych-outs are great too. :D
