This is where i think we will be

Timeline-
10 years-
Stargate Proggram revealed to the General Public allowing more money and greater reasources to be speant on building ships. and there will also be more personel to choose from.
50 years-
The Tau'ri will have defeated the Wraith and will have built a fleet of about 30 to 40 ships
150 years-
All Cities on earth will be powered by the most advanced naquadah generators. That will slow down the effects of global warming. We will have the Knoledge of how to reproduce some of the Ancients inventions like Drones, ZPM's and Stargates

300 Years and Beyond-
Earth will have begun to colonise another planet putting the building blocks in place for the next homeworld. It would be centered around Atlantis which will be moved to the planet powered by 3 ZPM's. We will then build cities round about it which will eventually be powered by ZPM's. It will continue to be built untill there is a population of round about 500 000 then people will start moving in. The planet will be defended by 2 Drone control chairs 5 Lantean sattilites and numerous battelships.

earth is a galactic superpower and member of an alliance of thousands of tauri worlds. together with the Hebridans, Tokra, and Jaffa, they form one superalliance allowing free trade, and enforcing peace.

pegasus is growing, more people free. advanced societies hidden from the wraith have massively grown. pegasus too is very advanced

IOA becomes sub-department of United Nations. Atlantis becomes research outpost. SGC moved from Cheyenne Mountain to official complex; Area-51 merged with SGC. Development of earth subspace capacitors and Mk 12 naquadah generator. Ship-based exploration exceeds gate-based exploration

Advanced technology slowly introduced over past century to public and world market. full working understanding of important ancient technologies. mastery of asgard technology. 306, 307 commissioned. Stargate Program officially ends- stargate is decommissioned. population restrictions established because of overcrowding- earth establishes a colony in the closest solar system to our own.
200 years
Earth possesses a fleet of over 500 ships (each major IOA nation constructs at least 2 ships per year); development of 308; Atlantis returned to Earth.
300 years
space-fever dies down- 400 ships decommissioned; limited contact with allies in Pegasus and MW. a maximum of 5 ships used in relations with other races. Tokra die out. Earth decommissions most offworld bases, and pulls out of Pegasus. Roughly 1/5 of the total earth population ascends. Cloning degradation causes 1/1000 of the population to become sterile.

I forgot to say that in 100 years:
Intergalactic federation of human worlds goes to war with the Greater Jaffa Empire. Jaffa have more worriers but we have better tech so we systamaticly beam Mark XXs onto Jaffa worlds and destroy them.
150 years:
The war over Jaffa all but dead and many world are now uninhabatable.
as more Milky way citizens move into the Pegasus tensions begin to rise.

....10 years: Stargate still secret (why would they reveal it to "us"? they have kept things secret that would no longer compromise anything if they came out, like things happening in vietnam (that was what? 30 years ago?) or such, so they would not reveal it that early)

50 years: Earth has succesfully integrated asgard and other tech into their very own. Now the stargate and the SGP are revealed to publick. The wraith in Pegasus have been defeated using an anti-wraith bio weapon and the offer of the treatment with the anti-feeding drug (not the one that makes them human). Earth, the Jaffa and the Tok'ra (some would still live) work together on major projects. A joint expedition to find the furlings is planed. The F-508 is just ready for it, her and her escort ships (508 is a big ship) leave for their mission.

100 years: after the furlings are found and their mortal enemy (something had to keep them from getting back into contact with there "old" allies (Nox, Asgard etc.)) has been defeated the Alliance of the great races is reconstructed once more, with the Tau'ri, the Furlings, the, the Tok'ra and the Jaffa on it.

200 Years: We do experiments on ascention (using stuff like that from the episode: The Tao of Rodney), we figure out how it works, some of Us (and of the other races) ascend, finally forcing the Ancients to once again play a role in the lower plains. They try to force us to stop ascending via technology, we fight them (our ascended fight for us of course), in the end the ancients capitulate, even more as we show them what their inaction did to us (things anubis was planning to do to the galaxy and what the ori did) and we declare their rules moot.

300 years: some of our people are still unascended, other decide to travel between the planes, as de- and reasencion can now be done at will, we continue to develop technologies and help to bring peace and stability to new regions of space....the end - or is it? ^^
