The Ancient Chair on Earth

So now that we don't have an ancient interface command chair or to put it simply "the chair" (not to be confused with the command chair on the bridge of a F-304 ), how are we going to defend ourselves from possible future attacks? What i would do is get the chair from Procleruush Taonas because it's not doing any good there and then just take it back to Earth and use it in case of another attack on Earth and just use that to fire the drones, thoughts?

Possible. Let's hope the writers remeber about it. It would certainly beat another human bout of inventivness, somehow figuring out how to create a control for one of the most powerfull weapon ever created from scratch.

What gets me is how are they going to explain to the world now they not only has the UASF been sending people into deep space, and other worlds, but has a fleet of interstellar warships?

Yeah, there are going to be some pissed off Earthlings when they find out that they have almost been destroyed multiple times by a myriad of different alien enemies.

Sorry mckay already prove he can create a control interface for the drones using earth technology in the The Tower, given they have had three to further developed their code I be shocked if they have not already built it. Except the writer probably forgot about that episode and what happened in it.

I am sure a few riots will occure, but I am sure soone a you beam a few thousand of them out into orbit any revolta will relies the folly of their ways and come around to see it USAF way.

for one, that's all the way in the Pegasus galaxy, and two, we don't know if the one on taonas is under lava, it was last seen perfectly fine though the outside was collapsing but still.

Well if the chair's out of the question, although The Tower one should still be functioning, but still if that was damaged beyond repair (even if they have the know how to repair that tech) they could just make a network of shielded Asgard Plasma Beam weapon satellites or some kind of ground based energy weapons (each with shields of course).
There's always shielded nukes.
Perhaps even some better fighters for planetary defense.

I don't think it could give off an energy signature like ZPMs.
The chair survived for millions of years in Antarctica.
How in the hell did they extract that thing from the outpost in the first place as it looked like it was a fixed part, but slightly raised from the outpost's floor?

this is mentioned in another thread, i stated the proclarush chair, which should still be fine. someone else suggested the tower chair.

But control chairs are also carried on Aurora class vessels, so the old chestnut that is the Tria will have one.

we saw area 51 being hit by 2 darts but i dont think thats enough to destroy the whole base

its quite possible the chair survived and the darts just hit the smoking room or something

im not sure if you heard but the Tria got sucked into a Plot Hole and was never seen again.
