In real life where will we be in 1000000 years?
which stargate races will we be like if any?
which stargate techs will have become real?
will we be traveling the stars?

OR DO U THINK THERE WILL BE NO HUMANS LEFT?

All of the science fiction style tech will have been developed and more.

Perhaps the Asgard but without the death sentence of the biological degeneration they had to incur.
    Either them or the Ancients.

which stargate techs will have become real?
The Stargate would be cool, Asgard style transporters, energy weapons, shields, faster than light propulsion whether it's in the the Hyperdrive or Warp Drive form.
I'd like all of the Stargate stuff really and used in a responsible way.

will we be traveling the stars?
In a million years most definitely, in fact we'll be all over the Universe.

OR DO U THINK THERE WILL BE NO HUMANS LEFT?
Hopefully we'll have colonized multiple planets, in multiple solar systems, across every known galaxy that's still habitable, so when that happens, assuming we didn't blow ourselves up in the 21st Century our prospects of surviving as a species should greatly increase, especially if each new established colony seeds more solar systems and galaxies, you'd have unimaginable numbers of Humans and their offspring constantly increasing the Human population.

Unless of course we kill ourselves off, I guess there's a 50/50 chance of either outcome happening in our future.

If we don't kill ourselves off, which is a possibility, we culd become one of the most powerful races in the Universe. We would proably have a great knowledge of Ancient technology, most likely with the ability to build Stargates. I can imagine there would be more people Ascending, as well. Humans would be everywhere.

Although you have to remember the thread starter said 'in real life', I'm not nitpicking, just saying.

Ascension, gate travel and all that stuff would be cool though.
Perhaps if nanotechnology is perfected for medical applications, which you'd think it would be 1 million years from now, then people will be able to live for many more years than they do now, perhaps even forever.

Our tech will be a mix of wraith (grown ships) and replicater (nanobots).

By 1 million years, we would of gone way out into the universe, and might have a restart on multiple planets to we would be at the high tech range but not super high tech.

if it wasn't for the 800 years of the dark ages we would be colonizing space right now probably at the same tech as the tollans where before they got wiped out, when the ancients came back from Atlantis they boosted our evolution significantly with the Greeks and the Romans jump starting our civilization but the dark ages put our evolution at a standstill for nearly 800 years in the stargate world at least. however opening the stargate has again slavery jumped our understanding of the universe and technology and countless planets for the people of earth to colonize in the event of global catastrophe.

the dark ages where very real but as for the real world nobody can foresee that far into the future but earth is at a crossroads we have polluted her ground and air far to much and without drastic intervention in our civilization, eather we find a way to survive the coming global change or we find a new place to live in space, be it finding a way to inhabit mars or venturing outside our solar system in hope of finding a new solar system with another habitable planet witch seems slim to none, the human race is remarkably resourceful in dire situations who knows what will happen in the next few years but they will be the most important years in recorded history, that's for sure.

My guess is that we as the human race will not exist. And by then the next major species will take our place.

Why did you ask on such a vast timescale?

Where will we be in million years.. well it depends a lot about what we do in the next 100 and 500 years. If we continue in the path of monetary economics we will find ourselves in 1000 year dark ages and have a future with a lot of uncertainty.
If we don't get over with our quarrels down here we will be doomed for extinction. Diseases+famines+natural disasters and wars. That's about it.
If we don't get to colonize mars in next 100 years, the chances of our survival will plummet.

In other words, if we don't get to mars within next 100 years we will be doomed for extinction, but if we get there, the amount of greatness we'll achieve will not be limited.

We won't exist past 40,000 as seen in the last man

that was an alternative timeline. that won't happen.

still, one million years seems like more than enough time to get way past the technological level of the ancients. in 10 000 000 years, they did remarkably little progress.

There never were "800 years of the dark ages".

I don't know where we'll be in a million years, but I do know we'll have tails again, and the Kama Sutra will be much longer.
