I've noticed recently (Infection) that Sheppard seems to like carrying around an AK rather than the P-90 he used to carry. What's up with that?

it is so old there are guns now out that are much better then the AK it was the best around the cold war

AK with that big bullet would be much more effective against wraith. 5.56 NATO is good for rabbits but 30 cal better larger game.

they'll continue using 5.56 NATO for quite awhile, mostly because its the NATO standard.

Maybe in 30 years they'll decide on some different and whacky caliber.
