Asgard Cloaking Technology

Thor told us that Asgard ships in orbit have never been detected by earth due to Asgard ships being equiped with cloaking technology which render them invisible.
we know we cannot see them in orbit and we know we could not detect and see Loki's Ship in orbit.

whenever we see an asgard ship in orbit over earth the ship is viible to the viewer, my question is do asgard ships actually have cloaking technology as we know it or is it something more sophisticated?

Puddle jumpers use cloaks as we know but do asgard ships use the same idea? Is it possible that Asgard ships have some sort of reflective property that renders them invisible to the naked eye?

I believe the reason you can see the Asgard ship is so that the transition between scene's doesn't jump around and makes it easier for the veiwer to watch. Other wise we would just watch empty space when they change over to the scene.

They didnt need to add 1 to the Oddysey in Unending either as it already has 1 but maybe we'll see them on our ships sometime soon.
