I am trying to identify the name of movie and can only provide a summary. The film would have been released in the last 20 years - most likely in the late 90's or early millinium. The move takes place aboard a space craft in deep space. The crew of eight or so rotate in and out of hibernation where 2 crew members watch over the ship while the others hibernate. The film starts with the next 2 crew members being awakened early as something has happend to the prior two. The story goes on that in the prior shift an alien probe was taken aboard and somehow infected the crew members. The 2 awakend then become infected themselves and end up fighting one of the surving members from the prior shift. They survive and overcome the infection. As a result of the fight and the infection, they have to rely on a nearby ship to evacuate the hibernating crew members which they do by jetising the capsules from on airlock to another. They then open the probe and discover that the probe was launched by Earth. The movie ends with the two infected crew members turning on a Quarantine warning beacon and floating away into space.

Nope. The film was set entirely on a ship. The only other outside contact was a ship that came into range to save the six people in hibernation. They used the airlocks to 'shoot' the pods from one ship to the next. The six in hibernation where not infected by the virus.Originally posted by fumblesmcstupid View Post
