That recovered hive Intergalactic have hyperdrive right? Why instead of letting it be destroyed, they use it instead to ferry suppies and troops from the Milkyway to the Pegasus Galaxy. Also it has still a large number of Darts remain in the Ship.

True, they needed it for an emergency, also the ships power generation was running short, with no spare parts, so it wouldn't be able to make many intergalactic ships. They even had trouble keeping such speeds during a short trip in the Pegasus Galaxy.
