Stick all the Tok'ra in Asgard who are degenerating and there you go crisis averted.
Even if there wasn;t enough minds to go around for the Tok'ra, make em a clone, a nice clean slate, and they get there own body!

The reason the Goa'uld and Tokra chose humans as hosts is because our bodies are easily repairable.
An Asgard body may not have the same result.

Also, there really isn't a host problem for the Tok'ra with all the planets saved from the Goa'uld. I could see the Tok'ra opening talks with them.
The real problem for the Tok'ra is reproducing. Their queen died awhile back, so their numbers are dwindling.
Cloning Tok'ra would help, but then they would run into the same problem as the Asgard, but since the could just as easily use Goa'uld (since they will need to study them like the Asgard need to study humans).
Besides, hasn't anyone ever heard of VOLUNTEERS! I mean the Asgard have saved our butts a lot and we can't ask if anyone is willing to be experiemented?

The Tok'ra solution? Use Ba'al cloning technlogy. He seemed to have perfected Human and Goa'uld cloning. Why not use it?

The Asgard only clone their bodies, and then transfer their consciousness into the new body.
Even the Asgard couldn't find a way to clone consciousness'.
So therefore the idea wouldn't work

The Gou'ald can't blend with every species out there. Who knows if it would even work.
