It's kinda like in the Highlander show and movies where nearly all the bad guys had names beginning with K. Look it up on Wikipedia to see what I mean.

Uh, none of those are aliens except Jolinar and Jonas. The names I listed are "aliens"... T trumps J... That's why it's Torran John and not the other way around.

But its the same for almost every letter. even K has a bunch of characters associated with it. Stargate is big, there is nothing in this "T" obsession, you could claim it with virtually a dozen other letters, M, S, R, etc.

Uh... You do know that as a vowel, the letter A will come up very often?

I was noting specifically the names that "starts" with the letter T and that most of these characters are major characters on both shows, and especially all characters from Teyla's family having the T start names.

But its the same for almost every letter. even K has a bunch of characters associated with it.

Like who? Other than Kasuf, Klorel, Kolya, and Kinsey, albeit Kinsey isn't a first name.

(actually, upon closer inspection, Klorel shouldn't be there, I'm actually thinking of Skaara)

As for the letter M, let's take a look:
We have Merlin, Ma'chello, Malakai, Martouf, Micheal, McKay, Mitchell, and Mayborne. Again, the last three are NOT first names and the first three are really minor characters (except maybe Merlin, who we only really see once, as later incarnations are of Oma).

Teal'C, Todd, Teyla, Thor, Tomin, Tollan, and Tok'Ra are MAJOR character and races. Much more important than dead dudes like Ma'Chello and Martouf (he didn't even get to second base with Carter).

Stop giving me the "oh it's a big universe so there are names all over the alphabet". I'm not just talking about names of random characters that we only see once, I'm talking about major ones. And again what's with Teyla's family having all T names?

In my family, there's a man and his wife who's names start with an 'R' both. They have 3 sons, and only after they named the second one, they noticed that they were now all 4 with an 'R'. So the fifth one got one too.
