Ancient Control pedestal?

We've sen that the Ancients built used them before they left for Pegasus (Dakara) and we've seen that Merlin used them when he built the Sangraal, so why have we not seen them in Pegasus?

They also seem a bit complicated when you compare them to the controls on Atlantis or the Arcturus lab. Are they the high point of Ancient design or somewhere in the middle?

Well, they device at Dakara was made before the Ancients moved to the Pegasus, because the device was activated when the left. The device that Merlin used was built after they moved to the Pegasus (and moved back to the MW and ascended). So I doubt the first is the highest form of their tech, however the second could be built with Ascended tech.

Both of those devices were made for only input. In each case, it was a code or frequency that had to be inputted. They weren't interactive, so to speak. The Dakara "pedestal" had a display connected to it, but it only showed the "wave" that the current input would create.

and dont forget the time loop device control. anyway, imagine controlling a city by pushing stones up and down.

so that it more secure and any average joe wandering in wouldnt have a clue what controls what. plus i suspect that it would be easier to make a less advanced design that will still perform the same function.
