    What is Atlantis?

I'm not talking about the show but about the city.

How do people survive in that city for example the exploding tumor machine almost everything in the city kills or almost kills people they dont need the wraith or replicators give it some time and the city does the work for you.

how does the city get repaired everytime it seems that even after episode 401 and 402 the city is okey again no damage.

security is the most laughable it's seems its very easy to infiltrate the city this season 5 it happens again so why not hold a open house then every episode someone new can infiltrate the city (micheal is half wraith so why doesnt the city protect itself)

well the list can go one it's better to build your own city

Exploding Tumor Project: Did you even WATCH Sunday? It was an abandoned project. Instead of affecting only a specific person, it affected people in the vicinity of the device. We don't know how long ago the device was tested, how many people were affected, if the Ancients caught on to it in enough time to do something with the affected citizens, etc. But if damage were done to Atlantis, be sure they had the ability to repair the city.

Also be sure, that once a project was discovered to be dangerous, it was shut down and NEVER pursued again.

Also consider: The Ancients had to try SOMETHING to win the war, no matter how dangerous. But again, see the above statements.

Repairs: Maybe the expedition is good at repairs? I mean, as they learn more about Ancient technology they can better repair the city each time. Perhaps even make aesthetical improvements. Point being: they're not without the ability to repair. Slower than the Replicators could do, sure, but not impossible.

Security: Yeah, you try anticipating EVERY single incursion possibility. This is why the SGC and Atlantis can't seem to win with the IOA: the IOA has the benefit of hindsight. The SGC and Atlantis have to act on the fly. Kinda hard to deal with things you don't reasonably expect.

And please: Use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in the future. That'll help us decipher your messages a LOT easier.
