i'm not sure if i agree with lost season 1 having replay value, when i rewatched it, i found the character building boring since i already knew the characters and any surprises no longer surprising series 2 and 3 were better for rewatching imho

Farscape has a better replay value than most because it's so surreal and outside familiarity that it has a certain timelessness. The series could have been set in the 80s or it could have been set in ten years and I think the differences would be minor. I think even Star Trek series don't really capture this quality. They are much more a product of the decade in which they were made.
