    The Bourne _________ Four ?!

Apparently it's coming out and I have to say I am excited although wary.

The release year says 2010 so this is a bit early however I say why not?!

The Jason Bourne series continues this Fall with the fourth Bourne film set to get underway so says producers Frank Marshall and Tom Crowley.

The IESB caught up with the successful producers on the red carpet of the 34th Annual Saturn Awards on Tuesday in Universal City.

Marshall says the Untitled Jason Bourne Project is coming soon. Hopefully they will be shooting next summer for a release in 2010 and our favorite anti-hero is apparently headed to South America.

I don't even know what titles they could call it.

I'm guessing this one is not a novel adaptation but another original story?

Well none of the films are really a novel adaptation. They just take the title and run with their own storyline which would make it original.

It's a new script for the whole Bourne set up they've already started.

There are about three book titles that could be picked up for the new title...

Bourne Sanction, Bourne Legacy, Bourne Betrayal. But I don't know what the next one would be titled.

Plus the story could take maybe one or two characters from the book. One person was saying it would be interesting if they bring in Bourne's brother from the books, which could be an interesting twist. So there's plenty of things they can do.

My only hope is that Julia Stiles shows up because there is far more to Nikki Parsons and they've been dropping hints left and right I need some eventual resolution on those two, paticularly her.

Cool. As long as the film continues in the footsteps of the past three films and contains the same great story and believable action, it should be great!
Steve, Bob and Todd. What chummy guys!

I can sum up my feelings for this entire idea with this simple picture:

Sounds interesting, and I'll definitely watch it because I love Matt Damon in this role, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how it'll work. Will he do the "treatment" again and forget his real identity and start all over, or what?

Yes, that's what I was referring to.

Exactly. I like the series but...stop.

An original non-sequel, not based on successful novel/broadway musical/former film screenplay making it to the screen at this point would be a miracle in competition with walking on water.

I'm looking foward to it, the Bourne movies are not really the kind that build a story line, they are more like movies that you just watch and enjoy.
