Doesn't that look a lot like....

I was just watching some pictures from the Daedalus Variations and something stroke me.

    http://www.gateworld.net/gallery/alb...iations_02.jpg

    This picture

The gun Ronon is holding looks a lot like the one used by the Lucian Alliance aliens in Prometheus Unbound and The Ties That Bind. Also it looks a lot like the gun used by an alien bounty hunter that looks a lot like the Lucian Alliance aliens , I believe it was in the episode Bounty.

Anyway if these guns are the same, do you think we will encounter them or an alternate version of them?

Probably just prop re-use, like how the Wraith use Bedrosidan weapons.

Do they really? I've never noticed that... then again, haven't seen said weapons in a while.

I can't really find any good pictures of the Wraith version but it is. Just have to watch Lost Boys again. That said, I can't remember them being used in any other episode. They might be in the armory in Season 4 somewhere...gimma a minute.

it also looks like the gun used by the "Predator".
if you see a light at the end of the tunnel, it's just a photon torpedo.

The Wraith version is slightly different than the Bedrosian version. I think it's where they got the idea. It's like a wraith "carbine". It's a smaller stunner, not a pistol but not the large AT-4 sized thing in season 1. It's been used from season 2 onward and since we haven't seen the large shoulder-fired stunner again.

It's the same prop, just recolored and modified. And yes, the "The Daedalus Variations" alien gun is the same as the one used by the Prometheus Unbound aliens.

It also looks very similar the guns used in Forsaken (Season Six)

Actually, the aliens itself in TDV remind me of the Forsaken aliens.
                      Mia: Don't you hate that?
                      Vincent: Hate what?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*t in order to be comfortable?
                      Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody really special: you can just shut the f*** up for a minute and comfortably share silence.

Actually, I thought the cap of the alien looked alot like the alien from Space Race in SG-1, I forget his name.
