Jonas Quinn/Corin Nemec Thunk/Discussion/Appreciation

Did anyone watch the new SG1 or SGA on Friday? I did and I liked Ben Browder and Beau Bridges characters on SG1. I still want Jonas back though. I kept hoping he would be on the Daedalus on SGA.

FYI...tonight's episodes on Scific are Meridian, Redemption Pt 1 and 2. I have seen them a few times but I will be watching them again. I have to get my Jonas fix!!

I watched both. I liked Col. Mitchell, but General Landry seemed a bit weak. It was like he let Walter and Daniel run things and just signed off on it.

As to Jonas coming back and showing up in Atlantis, I think that would be great. I could come up with at least a half dozen ways to write him in this season. For now, though, Mitchell seems to bring the sense of awe back to SG-1, which is neat. I hope that SGA will want to do that too, and, honestly, who better to do it than Jonas?

I did not think Laundry was weak. I think he just trusts everyone as he knows how good they are at their jobs. He is also new at this job. I think he is going to be tougher than Hammond once he gets comfortable. Mitchell is great. I like Ben Browder anyway and Vala cracked me up. I found her quite annoying the first episode she was in but she was much better this time around.

I kept thinking that they need to do another spinoff with the Daedalus. Jonas would make a great addition to their crew, or they can just drop him off in Atlantis. Jonas and Rodney would be interesting together. I think Rodney would get annoyed that someone smarter then him was there.

I'm willing to wait and see with Landry. It will be interesting to watch when he has to go up against the Ori. Until then, I'll patiently watch and do my best to not picture him in a beanie. Hubby can't stand him or Vala and found the entire ep boring. He watched it and taped it and then wouldn't watch it with me later after I got home. But he never liked Jonas, either so what's a girl to do?

Kinda like what happpened in Redemption, when Rodney nearly walked off with the note book until Jonas grabbed it back off him.

Oh yeah, Rodney refered to him as "The alien with the wacky naquaha" Instead of naquadriah. Also Jonas isn't an alien. He's Human just not from Earth. Or is an Alien someone who doesn't live on Terra Firma? Anyway....

Then Rodney says to Carter; "What's the little alien guy doing down there?"

Exactly!! That was funny with the notebook. I love Rodney but I am sure the "little" comment had something to do with Rodney's own insecurities. Redemption is on tonight!!! yeah!! I don't know why I am so excited I own the box set.
