Was impressed at how he took out the 2 guards escorting Teyla. Even Ronon and Sheppard was find it hard to match that ha ha. Perhaps Michael isn't the only one who's had an 'upgrade'.

He shot them in the back didn't he? Not really something to brag about.

I was just impressed he even doing that. He's a doctor!
At least he was before and wouldn't kill a fly.

I agree. I was a little surprised he did that.

I agree. I was a little surprised he did that.

After being away from his friends/family for so long, I can see why he would shoot the guards escorting Teyla and without any remorse.

He was going to shoot Michael aswell, he would do anything for the team even if it destoryed his morales.

I say kudos to Beckett :P

maybe...but I don't know if morale had anything to do with it. he might've just figured since his body is deteorating anyway, that it didn't really matter what happened to him so shooting guards wouldn't mean anything.

True he was a bit different in many ways.

It was a little weird when he did that, because just a few minutes before I was thinking about how Carson had only killed an enemy once before, in Sateda.

But I liked how there's a possibility he can come back in a future episode.

This is definately a darker more disturbed Carson, and I like it.

He did shoot two guards in the back. Not really anything worth bragging about when you can't face your enemy.:mckay:

Now, if he called out, the guards turned around and drew their guns on him...it would be note worthy.

I surprised he could even shoot straight so I was impressed even if he did shoot them in the back.

I was a bit impressed actually. I mean this is his first time to fire a gun. I mean I thought there was some kind of ethical dilema there with the two hybrids.

the problem was he couldn't shoot Micheal, though he wanted too.

The fact he could shoot straight...could be programed into him by Micheal or one would think the the doc could shoot straight...at point blank range too...after 3 years of fighting the wraith and replicators.

Also, did anyone notice the time frame from Carson's death was off. Beckett said he died 2 years ago...instead of last year.

Anyways, at point blank range I could hit a bulls eyes...with no one firing back at me...and I'm legally blind in one eye.

I was not impressed but rather shocked that tptb would opt to show a "good guy" shooting guards in the back at point blank range. It wasn't impressive in the least!

I thought Rodney did well with the P-90, especially considering that he was shooting with his left hand.

Um he never said he'd been dead for two years, he said he'd been a prisoner for two years, since the events in Misbegotten. Hey wait a second, did Carson seem to know about the Asurans when they told him Weir was dead? Misbegotten aired before Progeny, so how could the clone Carson know about the Asurans (unless Michael shared information with him for some reason)? That may be a bit of a continuity error.

McKay told him she was killed by the replicators.

I still would've expected a bigger reaction from him on basically being told the replicators were in Pegasus.

I think the fact that Weir died would've been a lot more important to him.
