When it's on photobucket, people can choose to share it with everyone. You just go on there and do a search. You don't need their permission since they are freely sharing the pics. Plus most of the pics are not even originally theirs. The Garfield one is property of Jim Davis or Paws inc. Jim is not going to mind using a Garfield photo on the net.

I don't think the almighty Jelgate could use up my bandwidth so no reason to be concerned, worst case senario I would just move the picture then the link is useless
