    Tactics used to Destroy Earth

Well since Earth is now the uber power in the galaxy and the show is about protecting Earth from off world threats my question is how would actually have a chance of attacking Earth and not losing countless ships?

So what would your plan be if you were the Goa'uld, Jaffa, Tok'ra, Wraith, Ori, or any other power in the galaxy old or new

Just for the sake of argument I would be the Goa'uld around Anubis level tech

Step 1. Have several cloaked tel'tak come in and find large population areas, military bases, central governments are concentrated, areas of infrastrure, and the Ancient Outpost.

Step 2. Set up space coordinates for ha'taks to come out of hyperspace that would put them above one of the designated targets

Step 3. After exiting Hypderspace start firing down at targets and wait for response from Earth

Step 4. When the Drones from Antarctica are released wait until they hit orbit then activate hyperspace and leave Earth for twenty minutes

Step 5. Jump into Hyperspace again and attack the targets again hoping that the drones are either usless in space or are back in Antarctica at which time several ha'taks start pounding Antarctica

Step 6. Repeat step 4 and 5 if Drones are used again

Step 7. When 304s start attacking leave Earth with hyperdrive

Step 8. Reattack Earth with fleet and flee when ever 304 is is weapons range and then jump back when it leaves causing the 304s weapons to be useless as only 3 304s exist and can't cover all of Earth and when Antarctica out post is destroyed the 304s is Earth's only orbital defense

Step 9. Continue to hypder space attacks until Earth is destroyed

Step 10. Leave and come back repeating process so Earth is no longer a threat as most if not all of their Infrastrure, Military, Government, and Population is gone and will not be back up for many, many, many years

So anyone else have any ideas? Because I wan to see Earth get knocked down a peg or two

Use a stargate dialed to a black hole deployed via. cloaked ship to Supernova the sun.

    End of story.

Well, in that case I guess I need to appologize for actually thinking like a real military man would think.

Why mess around when you can just blow the enemy to f___ing oblivion ???

so much hyperspacing is impossible.easyer: get a gate, and produce several hundred naquahdah nukes. lay your stargate flat, and build a rig to accellerate te nukes to the gate. get a second gate, bring it in earth orbit by a cloaked teltak.the gate must be mounted to its underbelly, within its cloak. get to low orbit, and start tossing the naquahdah nukes through the gate. drop then in some highly populated areas. then stop doing this, leave, while keeping a cloaked probe in orbit to watch earth tear itsellf apart with chaos and riots

Why is it to much hypderspacing?

We have never seen the need for Goa'uld hypderdrives to cool down and I gave time to cool down twenty minutes or so

Or just show up and start blowing up the artic and antartic... all that water flooding into the sea will reck havoc with our water/weather, AND raise the water level a good chunk..

Get a whole load of Al'Keshes. Strip the ship down to the bare minimum & load them with as much Naquadah as possible. Cloak them & send them to strategic parts of the planet.

Have them detonate at the same time. Planet is wiped out of all life. Only thing that would be left is military personnel hiding in underground bases/bunkers.

You could easily leave it at that because the surface would probably be uninhabitable for a long time. While the population will have been reduced to a few thousand max.

If you want to finish them off, then have the Ha'taks appear straight after hte initial attack. Dial the Stargate to prevent anyone from leaving.

Then use your main weapons to start blasting the secret bases. With enough firepower, the base will probably suffer a cave in & kill everyone inside when it collapses in on itself.

If it still survives, then you have troops land. Use force to gain access to part of the base. Then plant a big mofo of a bomb once you got inside. Retreat to a safe distance & set it off....Base is no more!

Only viable way to do it. Launch a devastating first strike that takes out 99.99999999999% of the population in a single go. Then bring in your big ships & wipe out those that are hiding in their underground bases/bunkers.

With upgraded 304's anywhere near the planet, you couldn't have a hope in hell of taking them out in a direct battle! The new weapons would rip them a new one. So a sneak attack is the only way!

If you want a very simple solution in destroying Earth then as the Ori all you would need to do is either a) get a Prior to override the gate and enter after which they can they do what the Prior did at Kallana or b) get an Ori ship to collapse Earth's sun into a blackhole.

A more complex tactic would be with perhaps the Wraith and would require pure brute force so say 20 Hive Ships enter the system along with three times that number in Cruisers. Harvest some asteroids in the solar system and keep sending them at Earth until most of them hit then its a simple solution of just storming the lines with numbers. Even the super 304's would be incapable of fighting against such numbers.

'Hallowed are the children of the Ori. CROWD: Hallowed are we. Hallowed are the Ori.' -

'Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the Gods, ships shall be built to carry the warriors out among the stars and we will spread Origin to all the unbelievers. The power of the Ori will be felt far and wide and the wicked shall be vanquished' -

or simply get to earth and make a TV appearance where you present unquestionable evidence that aliens exist. people would riot so badly that it would probably be the end of the world order as we know it.

the other tactic would be to lure the 304s to attack a few ships and in the mean time send some very big asteroids at earth. few ships would be lost but the goal accomplished.

gather all hiveships, take cover in the asteroid belt, and start launching massive attacks with a rain of fire

send some cargo ships and let them land in the middle of new york, while firing staff weapons and creating massive riots. some hataks to spice it up. few more nukes.

You guys are all trying to ignore and leave alone the 304's.

You need to take those out. You need 2 fleets.

One massive fleet. at least 24 ha'taks or hive ships this fleet has one and only one purpose to destroy the 304's. It will suffer heavy losses, but if they use a large combination of over whelming numbers, energy weapons, missiles, and fighters they will win. Also you need to close to point blank range. This is to prevent escape. a 304 has decent shields but they do fail.

The second fleet will be composed of 9 ha'taks or hive ships and assorted cruisers. They will conduct "raids" on the planet and deploy air and ground forces. The drones in antartica will be less effective against such targets depleting that supply quickly.

Once the advanced military forces have been destroyed the planet is yours. all that is left is clean up and making sure your slaves/food stay fresh.
