STARGATE SG-1 - "Endgame"
(Original air date 09-17-04)
Review:
After musing over things to do with the Stargate when no one's
looking, Davis (or whatever his name is this season) and another
technician skip out for a cup of coffee. Returning to the control
room, they notice something's...off.
The Stargate is gone.
With the Gate missing, StarGate Command is effectively grounded,
unable to even communicate with Alpha Site or the off-world Teal'c,
who is currently negotiating with rebel Jaffa along with M'Zell
(remember him?). The negotiations are severely disrupted, however,
when everyone up and dies.
**snippity doo dah**
A decent episode, and a good mid-season cliffhanger that doesn't
resort to a two-parter like Evolution. Apart from some clear winners
in the season so far, "Endgame" is about average.
Quotes:
Tech: "I mean one minute we're getting coffee and the next..."
Daniel: "Wait wait. Coffee? You got coffee?!"
Techs: "..."
Daniel: "Kidding. Just kidding. Sorry guys."
O'Neill: "Usually they ask nicely before they ignore us and do
whatever they damn well please."
