I heard Amanda too. Then I thought he said, "Samantha," and ruled that out, because Sam is usually referred to as "Carter." in the promos. Backed up my TiVO to listen to the trailer again, and he did say Amanda.

Very odd.

Then, I flashed back to the '70's (not MY '70's, but the 1970's), and fondly recalled Jean Lorrah's short Star Trek: TOS fan fiction story, "Visit to a Weird Planet," and Ruth Berman's sequal, "Visit to a Weird Planet Revisited."
