i went to work friday morning at 7 am, worked a double with no back-up, and didn't get home til midnight... cuaght a few winks, and got up and went back to work yesterday at 8am.... when i got home yesterday afternoon, i passed out til this moring.... we had a wedding party in house.... sometimes i hate working at a hotel.... but i have no one to blame but myself since i volunteered to do it....

I've never seen Dark Angel. I try to stay away from times when the actor is really young because I tend to like them a bit more filled out. :) Like, Jensen's shape now is perfect to me.. I even think he was a bit thin in the beginning of SPN but that could be just me.

I like the thick sleekness he has going on.. You know, Jared is muscle (and kinda hawt at that lol) but Jensen has a bit more to him and yet he's still fit and I love that.

Mine wasn't much better. I got next to no sleep last night thanks to Midol. My stomach was a little bloaty so I took the Midol and...thanks to the caffeine it has I was awake most the night, with my heart trying to beat it's way out of my chest. And that left me feeling like woozy crap all day long. I'm feeling better now though.;)

HomeOfTheNutty (www.homeofthenutty.com/superntural/screencaps/) ...they're huge and the clearest I've seen.;)


Now, I've gotta warn you, they don't have all the caps for season 2. There are 12 episodes without caps.:( The rest of the seasons have caps for every episode.;)


And Supernaturalfansonline (Supernaturalfansonline.com/gallery/) does have caps for every season, every episode. As well as promotional photos and behind-the-scenes pics for every episode. And caps for other things related to Jensen and Jared. Such as appearances, past tv shows, movies, etc...

They are smaller but you can view a bigger version of them using a trick I recently learned. All you gotta do is left click on the pic that you want to view, it'll show you a slightly bigger version. Okay, then you want to left click on that, once you do that another version pops up in a new little window - you probably already know to do this. Now, here's where the trick comes in. Right click on that pic and select "open image in new tab" from the drop down menu (if you have this option - you may or may not, depending on your browser). Go to that new tab and viola! Biggest version!

Now, if this explanation is as clear as mud I apologize and blame it on that lack of sleep I got last night.


Oh yeah, and might want to scroll back through the thread a bit and look for Jenova Synthesis's posts. She posts screencaps of every episode a few days or so after they air. Her caps are amazing, small, but bright and colorful. I use them a lot for sigs.;)

The 'attraction' debate: Science suggests we are attracted to people who are most genetically dissimilar to us, to give the gene pool a wider variety. This is pretty much at a subconscious level, and may only pertain to people we meet in person since there might be a pheremone connection, too. So, while you might be attracted so someone with similar physical characteristics, you might very well be quite genetically dissimilar. Behind that comes the psycho-social conditioning of the qualities we find attractive, which includes physical and personality traits. (This also factors into the Dean/Jensen debate, since Dean is the bad boy and Jensen is the conservative nice guy and someone might find one personality trait more attractive over the other).

For example, if we look at the boys as our gene pool (sigh...one could only be so lucky...) and if we only speak from anecdotal experience I have always liked tall guys (I'm a bit of a shorty, and come from short German/Sicilian stock, so this takes the 'dissimilar gene pool into account). This puts both boys on my radar as they're both tall. Jensen is of English/Welsh heritage and Jared is Polish. Since Polish is more closely related to German than English this hedges Jensen a little ahead of Jared. (And oddly enough, I have always been attracted to men of British descent). If you take physical characteristics into account, Jared is more similar to my coloring than Jensen (even though I'm a flaming redhead, I was spared the freckles and instead got the Italian beauty marks). Now, if you want to pull SPN itself into this hypothesis, Winchester/Campbell makes them English/Scotch, but factor in that Dean is the bad boy and Sam is the nice guy...well, I've always gone for the bad boy (which could be considered the psychosocial condition, since the bad boy is always romanticized; from Paul Newman through Judd Nelson and on...).
