i've usually got a good eye when it comes to art and optical illusions, but i just don't see this one... i'm trying, i really am, but it still alludes me.... maybe i'm too tired... i'll try again tomorrow

The leaf shadows make up Jensen's facial features...hie eye (only one is visible), nose, mouth and chin. The neg space is his cheek, jawline...basically his skin.

now, i love buffy, i really do... it's an iconic piece of my childhood, and i'd recommend it to any younger vamp-fan b/c angle and spike were kick-arse, but i'm older now and Jo's a much mature woman than Buffy ever grew into being

Jared's pulling lead in "Guy next door" as Dean Forrester from Gilmore Girls.... and Cas beat out that vamp from VD for "Supernatural creature"....had a hard time deciding b/t Bobby and Gibbs from NCIS for "silver fox", ended up going with Bobby b/c i miss him :( but now i'm torn for most crushworthy dad.... do i stay true to the fandom and vote Daddy Winchester, or do i vote Castle? it doesn't help that i think both guys are hawter than hot.... tips, suggestions, bribes?

One thing I learned from the Farscape fandom, even if they DO sign on the dotted line, and another season is guaranteed, there are no guarantees until THE FILMING STARTS! We were given a 5th season, and then the call came down on the LAST frickin' day of filming season 4, so they couldn't even wrap up dangling plot lines, the plug had been pulled. *sob*...sorry, I think I was having flashbacks...

Anyway, I will keep my fingers crossed...it's strong show and I see no reason why it shouldn't come back, but I'm not counting on anything until the boys are back in front of the camera come summer...

Having owned several different brands of laptops, I will tell you I lovelovelove my Toshiba satellite, and have not had any issues with it at all. HP was good, but lots of issues and it eventually died.

Was planning on going with Dell until I overheard a saleswomen at Best Buy tell a couple that they were not good laptops so...Toshiba it is!

good choice! Dells are good only if you custom build... the stock models that you can buy at any electronics store are crap... but if you go online and build your own, you can get a pretty sweet laptop for a reasonable price... i once did a comparision for the fun of it, and the Dell laptop i built online would have only cost me about 100$ more than the stock model they had in the store....

I will NEVER buy another Dell...their customer svc. is crap. I buy most of my electronics second hand now and haven't had any problems. I have a Dell desktop, my dds have HP laptops (which seem to work fine for them) and I have an Acer netbook for going portabable. Someday, I might buy a Toshiba tablet, though.

Acer makes some great netbooks... their other stuff is crap tho... Dell has risen... they're so much better now! HP is hit and miss.... their computers work great for the first two or three years, and then they go to crap... which is fine if you can afford to buy a new comp every three years, but if it's gotta last, i wouldn't recommend HP to my greatest enemy....

glad i could be of service! nao if only i could find a new affordable plan for me :S i have bellsouth, which is decent, but our plan doesn't really have enough bandwidth for both and my dad to be on at the same time... he doesn't need much since all he ever does is check email, be social on facebook, and watch the occasional movie or youtube vid.... unlike me... i play mass-multiplayer games, download and stream music and movies.... it's fine when he's not home, but when we're both on, i can't do much otherwise it slows him down and locks me up completely :rolleyes: unfortunately, the next higher bandwidth plan is insanely out of our budget and all the competetors have around the same price

I don't think I have to worry about that. I have internet trough my cable company...Comcast, now known as Xfinity. The CS is crap but otherwise it's fine. It'll be the laptop and my desktop but I doubt whether I'll be online on both at the same time. I'd primarily be using my desktop for Gimp and if I can't connect to the internet via the laptop for whatever reason. I'm also excited to see what Windows 7 is like as I have XP on my desktop. I yearn for new technology...upgrades...yeah.

I have an all-in-one printer/scanner/copier/fax. It's only two years old. And, yeah, so glad I never had the displeasure of Vista.

Ah, okay. Well, mine is not a feed through scanner either. It is sort of a flatbed, I just have to lift the lid, place the paper-to-be-scanned, close the lid and select the scan mode. The scanner also functions as a copier.;) Hopefully I am safe.

I got my laptop!:D I got it yesterday after work... Please don't hate me coptor, it's not a Toshiba. Because Best Buy didn't have the one I was looking to buy and after shopping around I decided on a Dell because I liked that one too. But, afterwords I couldn't get that Toshiba out of my head...had trouble going to sleep last night! And then this morning at work I couldn't concentrate because I was still thinking about the Toshiba. I debated, hemmed and hawed over what to do. Do I return the Dell and order the Toshiba? Or do I just keep the Dell. I had decided to return the Dell today.

Jason, my supernice salesguy, went over everything with me and after telling him what I'd be using the laptop for he informed that the Toshiba was too much machine for my meager needs and that the Dell was the better choice. He didn't want to sell me a computer that I didn't need. The Dell cost less than the Toshiba which was also a factor in my decision to keep my dell. My laptop is sooooooo nice, it has a switchable lid...it's black now but soon it will be my favorite color, blue. I can now play my SPN DVD's on my new computer, something I have not been able to do on my desktop. And, I played a really cool game on my laptop last night, one of those hidden picture games. I think I'm hooked on those games. It came with a lot of games which surprised me.

I'm using my desktop now because I need a router in order to access my internet. But soon!


@sis: Oh, I don't cap per say, I just...snurch the caps that I need. And I don't mind snurching those Dean/Tessa kiss caps and throwing them your way.;) Oh, and when ever you need a certain cap (or caps) please feel free to let me know as I love hunting them down. Seriously happy to do it!:D

I got my laptop!:D I got it yesterday after work... Please don't hate me coptor, it's not a Toshiba. Because Best Buy didn't have the one I was looking to buy and after shopping around I decided on a Dell because I liked that one too. Dell is excellent, we have a Dell desktop that I love. I am just glad you got one, and that you are happy! :D
Thank you! My desktop, which I failed to mention, is a Dell too and I love it too. In nine years I've only had one problem with it. Now though...those drive trays...which I know is a fairly easy fix (or just replace them altogether), easy but not cheap. Other htan that my desktop works fine...if a little slow..at times.


Now, to change my sig...

YAY for the new laptop! I still have my old Macbook, planned on getting a new one this year but I'm not sure now because the repairs on my car were so expensive :(

I have conquered Gimp! Ok, maybe not conquered exactly...maybe more like a stalemate...but I made my very own sig tonight and I just wanted to wallow in my pride a bit since it's so much more than just adding letters to a pic.
