I like the shots of him wearing the vest, it's too bad they did away with that look. It did good things for the cut of his arms and shoulders...
Actually that's a behind the scenes shot from the S6 gagreel. He wears sleeveless buttondowns under his (various) jackets...I think, for comfort reasons. Too many long sleeves and too hot during the summer shooting months.;)

OMG! I Loved tonight's episode! The unicorn SHOT RAINBOWS OUT OF IT'S ASS! A wicked cool callback to Dean's line in "Houses Of The Holy", Yeah, you know what? There's a ton of lore on unicorns too. In fact, I hear that they ride on silver moonbeams, and they shoot rainbows out of their ass. The second I saw the rainbow (okay, more like a few seconds really...took a few seconds for it to click) I thought of this line and cracked up big time! I was so giddy and fangirly...I love Andrew Dab and Daniel Loflin for this! They are the writers of this awesome (in my eyes) episode!

At the beginning when Dean and Sam are at the morgue investigating the first death...from a Giant Octopus...all I could think of was OCTOCOBRA! Kripke's movie/project in "The French Mistake".:D

We got to see Dean play Skee Ball! Well, sort of. Wish we could have seen more of that. Wonder if Jensen played between takes, you know, for fun. Wonder if he and Jared tried out the other games as well...like the ball pit. BAZINGA! (sorry, had to add that - the funniest TBBT scene I've ever seen on Youtube)

And you know what's weird? Just the other day I realized that we've never seen them eating Chinese food, sure Dean mentioned getting Chinese in "Mystery Spot" but, as we all know, they never got to eat it. So, that got me wondering if Dean and Sam knew how to use chopsticks (to eat with) which had me pondering the possibility of only one of them knowing how to use them and which one. Would it be right to assume Sam would know how and Dean would not? Being in college Sam more than likely might have had more practice with the sticks. Or, would the other-way-around be right? Dean eating out all the time it's possible he'd have had Chinese food once in a while. Then there was the whole Which do I want it to be and which way would be funniest. Which way would the writers go with this...and so on and so on. Yeah, I had too much time on my hands that day. And then, to my utter SHOCK and SURPRISE I see Dean putting CHINESE TAKEOUT! on the table. I was like OMG! I was just thinking about them and Chinese food! Then he slid Sam's container to him before removing and doing that thing were you rub the chopsticks together a few times before arranging the chopsticks in his right hand, holding them correctly - something I still cannot do - and digging in. Coincidence? Just wish I knew what he ordered!

Dean's reaction to Sparkly Sam was hilarious...and we got to hear him LAUGH. A sound I adore. Also love love love that Sam got Dean the Giant Slinky! A brother moment if ever there was one! Specially after Dean was trying to win the 1,000 tickets in order to get the Giant Slinky and his last skee ball toss landed the ball in the 100 hole after he walked away! I was like "Aw Dean, you got the 100 but you walked away!" I felt bad that some snot nosed kid was gonna get all his hard earned tickets...mostly due to the look he gave the game when he plucked out his piddly 3 tickets...can't wait for the screencaps for that!

All in all...I LOVED THIS EPISODE!

sis, I have no idea where the kneeling-by-the-door pic is from. I just know where I got it. Supernatural Fans Online (http://www.supernaturalfansonline.com/gallery/index.php) But, I wanna say season 3's "No Rest For The Wicked" but only because the pic is labeled bts_316_11-1.jpg...season 3 episode 16?

Oh, and you're welcome for the "recap". I was gonna mention the opening title card for this episode but ...I don't want to ruin the surprise.;)

I will tell you to keep an eye on the time clock thing when it's telling you when a scene is taking place. Another little surprise I don't want to ruin.

One more thing...pretty sure that's a manip.:o Jensen would never pose that way. Sorry to burst your Squee there coptor.

OMG! I Loved tonight's episode! The unicorn SHOT RAINBOWS OUT OF IT'S ASS! A wicked cool callback to Dean's line in "Houses Of The Holy", Yeah, you know what? There's a ton of lore on unicorns too. In fact, I hear that they ride on silver moonbeams, and they shoot rainbows out of their ass. The second I saw the rainbow (okay, more like a few seconds really...took a few seconds for it to click) I thought of this line and cracked up big time! I was so giddy and fangirly...I love Andrew Dab and Daniel Loflin for this! They are the writers of this awesome (in my eyes) episode!

At the beginning when Dean and Sam are at the morgue investigating the first death...from a Giant Octopus...all I could think of was OCTOCOBRA! Kripke's movie/project in "The French Mistake".:D

We got to see Dean play Skee Ball! Well, sort of. Wish we could have seen more of that. Wonder if Jensen played between takes, you know, for fun. Wonder if he and Jared tried out the other games as well...like the ball pit. BAZINGA! (sorry, had to add that - the funniest TBBT scene I've ever seen on Youtube)

And you know what's weird? Just the other day I realized that we've never seen them eating Chinese food, sure Dean mentioned getting Chinese in "Mystery Spot" but, as we all know, they never got to eat it. So, that got me wondering if Dean and Sam knew how to use chopsticks (to eat with) which had me pondering the possibility of only one of them knowing how to use them and which one. Would it be right to assume Sam would know how and Dean would not? Being in college Sam more than likely might have had more practice with the sticks. Or, would the other-way-around be right? Dean eating out all the time it's possible he'd have had Chinese food once in a while. Then there was the whole Which do I want it to be and which way would be funniest. Which way would the writers go with this...and so on and so on. Yeah, I had too much time on my hands that day. And then, to my utter SHOCK and SURPRISE I see Dean putting CHINESE TAKEOUT! on the table. I was like OMG! I was just thinking about them and Chinese food! Then he slid Sam's container to him before removing and doing that thing were you rub the chopsticks together a few times before arranging the chopsticks in his right hand, holding them correctly - something I still cannot do - and digging in. Coincidence? Just wish I knew what he ordered!

Dean's reaction to Sparkly Sam was hilarious...and we got to hear him LAUGH. A sound I adore. Also love love love that Sam got Dean the Giant Slinky! A brother moment if ever there was one! Specially after Dean was trying to win the 1,000 tickets in order to get the Giant Slinky and his last skee ball toss landed the ball in the 100 hole after he walked away! I was like "Aw Dean, you got the 100 but you walked away!" I felt bad that some snot nosed kid was gonna get all his hard earned tickets...mostly due to the look he gave the game when he plucked out his piddly 3 tickets...can't wait for the screencaps for that!

All in all...I LOVED THIS EPISODE!

I loved this episode too! :D I think it is my favorite of the season! :D

I will tell you to keep an eye on the time clock thing when it's telling you when a scene is taking place. Another little surprise I don't want to ruin.

One more thing...pretty sure that's a manip.:o Jensen would never pose that way. Sorry to burst your Squee there coptor.

I always loved a man in uniform...random question of the day: does Jensen just not like to shave or is it a choice because it makes him look older?
I think he doesn't like shaving because he's always ginger bearded when not filming SPN. Hellatus = lovelly ginger bearded Jensen. When he was prepping for directing his second episode, "The Girl Next Door" he had a nice full ginger beard.:D I love that bonus feature.

Happy Monday Pit. Its been quiet over the weekend...
Roomies and I just finished the season 3 finale. They were shocked and really wanted to watch the next episode, but it was 1:30am...anyways, they are pumped to watch the first ep of season 4. :)

He has been known to do stunts before, so it is possible. They way they cut the scene though, and the fact that he does have a stunt double, I would tend to lean towards a stunt man.

So does Jensen wear contacts or are the glasses an affectation (not that he isn't adorable in them either way....)

Jensen did wear contacts until he had LASIK a couple of years ago! You can even see the contacts on some high resolution portraits from him .

Roomie rewatch ramble:
Anyways...I'm watching SPN with the roomies you know. And we just had the season 3 finale last night. And of course they wanted to watch Lazarus Rising right away today. The entire episode they were scared of Cas, before they knew what he was. And I'm sitting there with a huge grin on my face because I knew exactly what was happening. When they found out, they were so happy. It was cute. :) They are happy Dean is back, and are excited to see the angel plotline.

I think Jared has even said when Jensen's been drinking, he gets this look on his face like he's 6 and he just wants to reach over and (he mimics taking the bottle away) and say "you're not old enough for that, son..." They're both like a couple of kids, really. Hehe, "I wanted to see what would happen if..."

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday.:o Was having a problem with my right eye where everything was kinda blurry...like looking at a 3D picture without the 3D glasses. Mostly noticeable when trying to read small print, like in a book or on this thread; work was not fun. And, my eye felt weird, irritated or something, kept blinking it in the hopes of clearing it of whatever...water, tears? Think it may have had something to do with washing my face, soap in the eye? Though I never felt the sting of that happening. I also applied foundation to my face after washing it (after I'd gotten dressed that is), specifically under my eyes...could have pressed too hard on the lower tear duct? After work I had to go get my taxes, again, not fun with the eye, got home and just watched TV all afternoon and night. Since I couldn't read anything I decided not to go on my computer, I wouldn't have been able to read posts anyways. Whatever it was it's gone now, my eye is A-OK today. Vision too:)
