A friend was here and slept at my place because she didn't want to drive back home last night.

Another friend sent me the link to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuACuW519Zo) via Twitter this morning and I was watching it when my friend came and asked "Who is this? He is looking good! And he can sing!"

Ended in me giving her a small insight in the magic of Jensen Ackles (TIH, Eye of the tiger) :D But I don't think that I convinced her into SPN because she couldn't even stand the standard flesh wound. Wuss.

You can also get Dean's skull bracelet, and Mary's charm bracelet. I got those for the kids a while back.
Skull bracelet? Kewl!

Programming a VCR is... complicated. But you can set it to any channel (once they're stored in its memory) and record while watching something else. Of course, laptops are fine as well.
Yeeeahh...I just stick to watching SPN online if I can't catch it on TV.

I've been to one Stargate con, and it was great. The one in Rome was special because of the lineup - pretty much everybody who was anyone on Spn was there. Oh well, water under the bridge and all that.
I haven't been to a single con. Maybe one day...

He did, didn't he? Although Jensen said at some con that he really tried to sing badly because TPTB figured Dean wasn't a singer. Dead or Alive wasn't half bad either, IMHO.
Darn Those PTB! But yeah, his version of Dead or Alive was pretty good.

All laptops come with built-in modems, so you can either connect them to a router with an ethernet cable, or you can scan for available WiFi networks. Once you enter the proper password (at least here in Europe they're pretty much all PW protected) you're online wirelessly.

They're wrappers from Halloween candies. These caps are from S4's It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester. And the seats were always black. Less susceptible to stains, I imagine.

I've watched that vid a ton of times...I just can't get enough of Jensen's voice! Dean's gruff (speaking) voice is just chock full of GUH!

Gruff voices really do it for me. It's one thing my three major thunks have in common.

Saw Heaven and Hell last night and...DEAN CRIED AGAIN! He's got a pension for doing tht at the end of episodes, huh? It's so sad that his life makes him cry at times...as does his 40 YEARS in hell. Poor guy. Can't someone cut the poor man a break?! At least he "Got a slice of Angel Food cake" in that episode. And what a slice! Made me wish I was Anna!

Same here. Too bad Anna (S5 spoiler)went rogue and got ganked, as far as I can tell so a repeat performance is pretty unlikely.

Very true. Jared and Jensen make the characters so loveable and this makes the show awesome. It always reminds me of what Ron Moore said about Battlestar Galactica: The show has never been about the story, it's all about the characters. Same goes for SPN if you ask me. The story being great is a bonus :D

Thanks. Ugh, I hate having my hardest exam first. :( And after this exam I have to go right onto studying German. >.< It's an order of decreasing difficulty: Earth and Ocean sciences, German, Medieval Studies and English (which is a week after the rest).

Yup! We have a specialist beer shop in town that sells all kinds of beers, wines and spirits. I've tried a few of the wheat beers from different countries, but that one is definitely my favourite. Is it unusual to have a dark one btw, as most available are light/blond beers. They also have a couple in the supermarkets... I got another one today... will have to check what it's called, I've forgotten!

LOVE con pics! More please!! :) Jensen, as a real person, is even more fascinating (and beautiful! ;)) to me than Dean!

*sigh* Finally bit the bullet and decided to go to the con in Chicago this October. I figured it was worth it for my once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Jensen in person. So, I bought the Jared photo op ahead of time and....turns out this will be one of the first Creation cons Jensen ISN'T going to :mad:....and then later found out Jim Beaver's agent couldn't make a deal with them either :(:(:( I would have sold lemonade by the side of the road to see Jensen, but much as I love Jared, I can't justify the cost if my MAIN reason for going has diappeared. And just to add insult to injury, now I have a $100 Jared photo op I have to try and re-sell! That'll learn me! ;)

Oh, brother. I knew I should'a waited until later this morning to play catch-up in here. Going on 12:40am...and I need sleep!

Now, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but I just have to post this, it's too awesome. A friend found this on a LJ site, but forgot which one. I'm sure she wouldn't have snurched it if it had been forbidden by the site owner, but some people are very protective of their artwork. And this is a work of art. Well, it worked for me. I got married in May, and we had glorious weather. OTThe Standesamt (registrar's office) was across a park from us, and my father-in-law was really disappointed that we decided to leave the BMW with the big bouquet on the hood behind and walk/cycle to and from he ceremony.

Thanks for the tip, especially since they have parts of S5 as well. The one I use (http://www.screencap-paradise.com/?cat=5) only has S1-4.

It is a great episode. And it is a real sign of Jensens awesomeness that he manages to still look gorgeous, in spite of this absolutely hideous shirt they made him wear in this ep. I so preferred the uniform. Actually, I watched that one not too long ago myself, and I found a few more close-ups I liked.
