Leaving aside the extra Baal that was mentioned as a way for the character to return, the symbiote that they removed from Adria would still have retained all of her knowledge, which would make it incredibly valuable. Does the process always kill the symbiote, or could that symbiote still be alive?

they used that tech that imprints memories...and downloads them but for some gay reason they didn't hook adria/baal on it and download their knowledge. even in the form of memories, pictures, flashbacks their memories are very valuable. for one they could know for sure how many baals are out there, and are the ori really dead, also where the ori fleet is, their plans, destinations, how many more ships are expected to join etc. they had plenty of time to do it and than they'd simply put a bullet in them.sigpic

Personally, after watching this episode, I find the whole Baal plot device to be somewhat annoying. I mean, I enjoy watching him as a character, but when will it end? He wasn't nearly this much trouble when other system lords existed, now suddenly he's a thorn in everyone's side. And why is it that only he is making use of cloning technology? The cloning idea just leaves us with an infinite "what if" list of possibilities. Okay, so all the Baal clones gather at Wafflehouse for a family reunion. You nuke the place with symbiote poison, only to find that one Baal stopped by the Wal-Mart down the street to get some batteries for his digital camera. I swear he's almost as bad as the Replicators.
