What Galaxy has the better Tau'ri scientists?

If both teams were assembled and given say, the Ancient Personal Shield device, and assigned to use it to design a usable prototype, which team would be more successful?

IF it happened i think that McKays team would win and so he should with the
ancient technology his specialty and because he is smarter than Carter.

You have to way up the abilities of each member of the team and compare them to each other.

Mckay and Carter are about on par with their intelligence! Before late s9 and 10 I would have said Mckay would have clearly surpassed Carter with his knowledge of ancient tech, but know, i'd say they both have about the same knowledge, with Mckay being just ahead.

Zelenka is good, but he's no Jeannie. You have to remember that she was comparable to Mckay. While Zelenka is good, he's no Mckay!

And you cant even compare Weir and Daniel.

Probably carter and her team because rodney and zelenka would be arguing to much and weir would spend half her time telling them to shut up. Although rodney is better at working under impending death so perhaps holding a gun to his head or a lemon lol would speed his team up.

If we are to go by that list:

In terms of the scientists it could go either way, but I think Pegasus has an advantage. Besides the ones, mentioned it has brilliant scientist from all over the world. Don't think thats case with the SGC. But, still too close I think.

So, I think It'll come down to Wier Vs Daniel!
Well, here to me, the answer is pretty clear.

Carter Wins over Mkcay she has much more knowledge on retroengineering technology, having spent the last 10 year providing earth will every advance in technology to date, as well as being the head of Area 51 and the SGC's technical side.
Zelenka is good but i dont think hes as godo as jeanne; however the MW team should have bill lee rather than her because he is much more closely linked to carter than she is.

Daniel vs Weir in technical translations...Daniel! hes way better at this than weir ever could be, she has an understanding of the language of the anceints, he WAS an Ancient; theres just no comparison.

With those line-ups id have to say pegasus. Although daniel is better than wier id say McKay and Zelenka beat Sam and Jeannie hands down. If it was Lee instead of Jeannie i wouldnt like to put bets on that.

Its felger who's the idiot not lee, lee has been around for like 4 years and has done Lots for the SGC...unlike Jeanie who only recently learned of the gate program.
What ever happened to the pair of nerds that were always about in the SGC. I watched redemption recently and they were in there but disappear after a few episodes...they jsut vanish.
