SG-1 Movie Release Dates?

Anybody got any idea the time frame for the movies making their way into the shops? I know they start filming in April and then June so are we looking at Christmas this year?

I'm just wondering if i've missed an annoucement on the subject. Also, are we looking at both being released at the same time or a few weeks apart?

As far as I know, there are no release dates yet. According to Brad Wright it is all up to MGM, but maybe the movies will come out this fall.

I'm pretty sure they said at least the first one for this fall- word on the second one seemed a bit more.....vague.

My guess would be at some point near the end of the year but thats my guess

I wouldn't be surprised if both were done for a christmas release.

I would say it should take about 4 months, start to finish to make each movie. If they wait until both shows are finished, the SG1 team could make one movie, the SGA team could make the other. Helps get both out quicker and could be done. I would say release date, October.

I think they said they woule be filming for 4 weeks for each movie, not sure how much time they'll take including making all the CG stuff etc...

As long as it is within that range, I'll be a happy camper. I can't wait for an official date though (probably won't get that for quite a while though).

Me too though I do hope "Ark of Truth" comes out in the fall.

I doubt it. They will likely release one in the fall and one in the winter though it'd be nice.
