I'm from the U.S. I've noticed that Stargate SG-1 is running with Battlestar Galactica on Sky.
This presents a good opportunity to test one of the hypotheses for why the U.S ratings were down--that SG-1 wasn't running with Galactica anymore.
If SG-1 is running with Galactica in the UK and its ratings didn't go down in Season 10, then you have some evidence that running with Galactica is key to success. If not...back to the drawing board.
The other thing that can be tested with the UK ratings is the infamous "hiatus is going to hurt" theory. With the UK not having an extensive hiatus between the two halves of the season, it provides a benchmark to compare whatever happens in April in the U.S.
So, is anyone tracking the UK ratings?
