Daniel not 'pure of spirit' due to annoyance with Ancients

As we know, Daniel's been getting increasingly POd with the Ancients over their unwillingness to help the lower levels of existence against the Ori.

Could this explain why he wasn't able to pick up the Sangreal at the end of "The Quest part 1" despite Adria's expection that as a former ascended, he'd be 'pure of spirit' from their POV. A sort of "we can tell you don't like us 'that' much, so we don't like you"?

Could Daniel's reaction to this percieved treatment explain him...

That was a hologram. but also what it was about was that Daniel was not to try and take it. A person who takes something the moment he sees, does not have a pure Spirit

maybe SG-1's Daniel is still ascended and the "new" Daniel is an evil Ori or Anubis pretending to be Daniel?

Here's a plot twist--suddenly Oma and ascended Daniel show up and expose the current Daniel as an imposter. A spy for some unknown enemy--that is why he behaves so badly around Vala.
