"Science fiction" actors guest roles - Star Trek, Stargate, Galactica,...

Recently I'v discussed with my friends which sci-fi actors would be great as a guest stars in Star Trek, Stargate and Battlestar Galactica.

In my opinion it would be great to see Scott Bakula (Archer) in Stargate: Atlantis, in Shepperd's or Caldwell's type role. And Patrick Stewart would be great in role of Tigh's brother in Galactica.

One of my friends points out that Avery Brooks would be damm good battlestar commander.

Avery Brooks would make an awsome Battlestar Commander! He'd just be plain great on BSG.

How about the guy who played Kahlek in SG-1's "Prototype" as a cylon.

Heh, I wouldn't argue with that choice.

Victor Garber would make another good cylon actually.

How about.....Patrick Stewart and Michael Rosenbaum as Ori Priors.

TBH I hated Sisko with a passion, but it might be the character, not the actor...
Pinky, are you thinking what I'm thinking?

He would make such a good cylon, maybe as the main cylon General/Admiral model. He did such a good job with his role in Stargate and would do great in Battlestar Galactica

What you think about RDA in the next Star Trek series?

Nah. Some people would just have a go at the show one he leaves
Science Fiction is an existential metaphor; it allows us to tell stories about the human condition.

Isaac Asimov once said individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today, but the core of science fiction, its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.

Sirtis also revealed that she hoped to appear on the revival of Battlestar Galactica in the current season, saying, "My agent called Ron Moore and he said he'd look out for something for me next year."
