Vancouver Province
Halloween Haunt
Where: Bridge Film Studios, 2400 Boundary Rd., Burnaby
When: Oct. 27-31
Tickets: Sold out. Check filmhaunt.com to see if additional shows have been
added
There are only a few words of caution before you head into Bridge Studios’
Halloween Haunt.
First, arrive early because if you miss your time slot, you miss out. Groups
are scheduled to begin the 40-minute scarefest every 10 minutes.
Second, don’t try to sneak in your four-year-old because this tour is PG8
------------
Prochaska had been thinking of the idea for a few years when Stargate had its
usual hiatus and thought the film studio would be an ideal location because,
frankly, they create scary stuff and not-so-scary stuff every day. The idea of
launching the event and raising money for charity — with the added bonus of
industry workers scaring the crap out of people — was a natural.
“Our objective was to do something good for the community,” says Prochaska. “
This industry can be disruptive to the community and it’s our way of saying
that we appreciate their understanding and support.”
