Things that the SGC can learn from Dakara's fate counterstrike spoilers

We saw that the Dakara weapon was effective against the Ori ships, and we know that the weapon works essentially the same way as the Anti-Replicator Disruptor.

So why do they not just modify the disruptor to be effective against humans, so they could disable any Ori ship, except the one the Adria is on, but they could just then beam aboard the ship and capture her with the Anti-Prior Sonic Emitter.

First off, SPOILERS! Jeez, how hard is it? [SPOILER][/SPOILER*] < just remove the *

Second of all, the moral issues that come with your suggestion are pretty much the main reason why they almost certainly won't do it.
Equality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.

The one thing we need to learn from the Dakarra incident is never to trust the Jaffa to do anything right. Ever.

Perhaps it cant work the same way? I mean the disruptor was similar to the dakara device but not exactly as powerful and perhaps it did not have as many 'settings' as the dakara one or might be that the Asgard put failsafes so that it wouldnt be abuse. Just some thoughts, could be wrong.

The technology is way too advanced for us, and there is no way the Asgard would help us do it.

Because some people will use the technology in the wrong way, could you imagine all these different shadow organisations somehow getting hold of such a weapon, think of people like Baal, Athena(memento mori).. and other groups that would jump for joy at a weapon that could be modified to wipe out living beings for whatever purpose they desire

Not to mention we only use force when necessary. We didn't use symbiote poison on Jaffa homeworlds. We're not going to use human disruptors on Ori controlled armies or planets.

Exactly and I really loved how Landry,Teal'c and Bratac voiced their objections.

The thing to learn, is never attack the Ori directly, because if you give them cause to come after you, you're going to lose. And, truth of the matter is, that no one should have that kind of power, not the Jaffa, and especially not Earth, with their Goa'uld problem.

Because its WRONG to kill all those people, many of whom could be saved from the Ori later on.

Genocide is not the answer. Im surprised this is coming from a Trekkie, who should have more humane views due to the Federation's ideals.

Then again, I think SG is becoming more humanitarian than compared to other Science Fiction shows.....
