Like most visual effects and animation professionals, The Chiodo Bros., Shephen, Charlie and Edward, have some old home movies that offer early glimpses into their genius. We were thrilled to learn that the boys have posted one of those childhood epics online in its entirety. Titled The Beast From the Egg, the impressive kid creation laid the foundaion for things to come, including Tim Burton’s stop-motion short, Vincent, and the cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Most recently, they provided the marionette puppetry for Matt Stone’s and Trey Parker’s Team America: World Police and a special puppet sequence for SCI Fi Channel’s Stargate SG1. They also just put out their first children's book, Alien Xmas, which features a forward by Ray Harryhausen and is available at Barnes & Noble and amazon.com.
