Possiblity of Continued use of the Sodan Cloak

Would it not be a good idea to use the Sodan Cloak on Ori controlled worlds because those transdimentional aliens could mutate creatures that might be a possible weapon against the Ori?

    Or the local populations.

Ori controlled worlds are basically just planets with random poor defenseless people converted. So, no.

Thats about as good as using bio-weapons against the enemy. Earth has the same problem against the followers of the Ori as they did against the Jaffa. The believers arent the real enemy, the Ori are...by attacking the believers you are just 'confirming' that Earth is as bad as the Ori say they are.

Agreed. The only way is to make the "followers" realize who the Ori really are.

Uhm did they say the bugs evolved or mutated people? Because those two are completely different things. Those people infected could just turn into vicious monsters which again doesnt help things as they would be rogue.

Would be good for the rumours though, every Ori converted worlds miraculously (sp?) gets people mutated.

I agree. The SGC would never use such tactics, even in these dire times. It's just not our way.

the only way to make the believers question the validity as the ori, being that they are the only ones that will allow ascension is to have someone non ori ascend infront of them
Their white flags are no match to our guns!!

Yes, well, something caused rapid and extensive mutation.

                            CARTER
Yet the inhabitants of P9J-333 claim to have never seen or heard of any such mutation to any of the animals on their planet.

                            TEAL'C
The one inside the stomach of the mutated creature was quite active.

Not once was the word "Evolve" (or any of its derivates) used in the episode.

I think it is too easy to use in the show, it is becoming too technologically integrated, we need to keep it simple like it was when the show first started, that';s why people loved it so much!!
