What a great shock I got when I found out that a
Ghost Rider movie is coming out in 2007!!! YaHoo!

The bigger shock though was finding out that
Nicholas Cage is playing the Ghost Rider!

Hey The Cage is great but as GHOST RIDER????????

Hope this is no funny movie!!!! (ok ok so it is not so comical! oops there I go again, now just how can I say this without such cliques!)

As far as Nicolas Cage as the Ghost Rider. No offense to
Nicholas Cage but I find it hard to accept his demeanor
and my own expectation of his acting ability to really carry off a fantastic portrayal of this exceptional Marvel character. I like the Ghost Rider but I find that I am more inclined to want to see someone like Steven Seagal in the role than Cage! It's that voice!!

I'm not so sure about Cage (he wasn't the first choice for the part, that distinction goes to Keifer Sutherland, but he has 24 to make), but the trailer looks good enough to make me want to see it.

I doubt the voice will come into play much (sure they'll synthethize it into something otherworldly when he's the Rider), but I have to admit that the idea of Seagal in the role may be more frightening than the Rider himself. Heh...

It definitely has potential. Plus, I really like Nicolas Cage as an actor, so that doesn't hurt things IMO.

I definitely agree though I still cannot handle Cage as the Ghost Rider even though I do enjoy his many performances, especially in Lord of War!

I cant wait for this film. I think Nic Cage will be fine. It was made 15 mintues down the road from me... I live on the Gold Coast, Australia, and I have been lucky enough to have seen the shots of all the sets and backdrops. I have connections, he he! But, yeah, it looks awesome.
