    Revelations

    I just realized recently that all of the revelations that they come to now are directly tied to the plot of the episode or maybe a couple down the line. It seemed like they used to make discoveries and then a season later or whatever they realized one small part of its relevance. Now its like discovery oh this is what thats for, or we need to look for this. Not oh we found this, i wonder what it does.
    Also anyone notice daniel doesnt really do any translating or anything that he used to do. Now he is purely the conscience of the show?

      Exactly! I still think Daniel does what he's always done on the show. Just not in every episode.

        It all depends on the context of the episode. If they are exploring a planet with some Ancient tech or writing then yes he would "do his thing" but if it isn't needed he will rely on his other skills. he has become a good fighter good in reconocense or stealth missions and he is also the voice of reason. All good qualities in good old Danny if you ask me!

            I don't think he has changed (except for now you wouldn't mind him watching your back)

              i'm not really sure either. I agree with you on Daniel though.

                It might not really count, but Daniel must have done a lot of translating off-screen in Insiders and Uninvited.
