    StoneHenge?

Acording to legend, Stonehenge is the last resting place of Merlin, is it possible the weapon is there?

    O'Neill: Zed?

no no not another lost city, but Merlin is supposed to be buried underneither the monument so maybe an outpost? Or maybe a personal lab of his?

        Sorry, I wasn't clear.
I meant a rip off from the episode, Lost City.

Actually that sounds like a neat idea and no i don't see it as a ripoff from Lost City. I think that could be a logical place as to the location of the weapon.

Now that you mention it, Stonhenge does look slightly like the Ancient Weapon in "Redemption".

It would actually be pretty neat if when you find the pendant you have to put it somewhere on stonehenge to activate the weapon, and then fire it into a stargate dialed to the Ori Galaxy.

            This sort of method would:

            a) Make it a little harder than just finding the weapon

            b) Force the SGC to reveal the Stargate to the World (or take a lot of precautions)

I agree this could be a good way for the weapon to be activated.

Stone hedge actually has three rings to it. So, who knows--stargate would be foolish not to use stonehedge in the stories.

Cool idea daniel is crying because he didn't think of it.

Stone Henge isn't Nahquadah-based, enough said.

Why does it have to be?

Because pretty much everything Ancient is Nahquadah-based? They wouldn't make a super anti-ori weapon out of stone.

They're the Ancients, maybe those stones have Naquada cores that we can't detect! Yes, that's it.

Whatever the case, I'm really intrigued by this idea.

As far as we know, only the Stargate is made out of Nahquadah. The Goa'ulds' tech is mostly naquadah-based but no one has ever said anything built by the Ancients besides the Stargate is made from naquadah.

                              They're most certainly not stone-based.
