An idea about anti-ori weapon

I've just been thinking about whether the anti ascended weapon doesn't actually kill ascended beings but merely makes the descend. Merlin probably made it to descend certain ascended beings but SG1 will probably make a mistake and make all ascended beings descend.

Another idea i had was: if the weapon does kill ascended beings maybe they could kill anubis and free oma from her never ending battle with him.

the accended ancients are engry beings the aint-ori weapon cancels out their engry.

Maybe they can send in Lamb Chop as backup. Wouldn't the weapon be useless if the Ori are in more than one galaxy?
