I assume you're talking about the boots that are standard issue with the new Marine uniforms.

Those are the standard issue Marpat brown boots issued now. The entire Marine Corps has been wearing them for a few years now. Studies have shown that they actually work much better than solid black boots in woodland climates. I love my Marpat boots for the simple reason I dont have to shine the black ones ever again!!!
