iF MAGAZINE: Joe Flannigan denies that any chemistry exists between your
characters on the show. How do you feel?
TORI HIGGINSON: Well then I can’t say yes, if he says no because then I look
like a loser girl. [Laughs] I think as people and actors there is chemistry,
and I think Joe is frightened of that. I think everyone gets frightened of
romantic pairings, because some people will be supportive of it and some people
won’t. It can sort of overshadow things that are going on. I don’t think it’
s realistic for these two characters to ever have anything romantic. I think
it’s interesting if there is subtext for the audience to pick up on, but never
to completely take over.
