Is it just me or does this episode seem a lot darker and more gory than stargate usually is? Not saying that's a bad thing though, it does look brilliant.

Since Season 9, I think this show has gotten a little bit darker. And that's fine by me. I really look forward to this episode next week.

Me too and I was thinking the same thing. Is it me or did I hear some blood squirt or gory gush sound at the end of the trailer? I remember thinking holy crap we aare so screwed!

I think there will be quite a bit of blood squirting in this one. If I'm not mistaken, in the trailer, it looked like
Spoiler:
one of this creature's victims had his arm separated from the rest of his body.

Cool. I'm not a big fan of gratuitous gore, but if you're going to do a scary monster horror episode, a bit of spurting and dismemberment always fun! Unfortunately, this means that when it finally airs in the UK, all us poor Brits can look forward to is a 15-minute show with a lot of very strange editing cuts...
