Here's an idea for a game.
There's a grid, 9 squares by 9, numbered 1-9 across the top and A-I along the side. In this grid is hidden a stargate in a block of 4 squares, a Malp in a 3 square line, a DHD, 2 squares, and SG-1 as 4 single squares.

Normal battleship rules apply, i.e. no diagonals, etc. and you fire 1 shot at a time by posting a letter and number, such as C5.

What do you all think?

True, you would have to rely on the honesty of participants, and having seen the cheating on The Last Word........

quick idea. if it makes people happier, both participents of a game can send their details to a single neutral poster, who acts as a referee, to make sure all hits are announced. ye? nay?

The dirt and grass jets into the air, thankfully missing all targets.

(=D i'll trust you too. i suggested it, because some people would avoid playing because of fear of being cheated...)
