If time were to be turned back or if SG1 were to enter a different reality would the ascended ancients be the same or would they be different depending on the reality their in. I mean the ancidents are on a higher plane of existance so they shouldnt be affected by that sort of thing but on the other hand lets say Daniel is ascended in one reality and in the other hes not. Confusing right?

hmmm.... well, one could assume that time is a separate demension from the one the anchients inhabit. (i.e. they are in the 4th deminsion and time is the 5th) As far as we know, the anchients are limited by time as much as we are, otherwise they could do things likeSpoiler:stopping Morgan Lefay before she says anything or not ascending Anubis in the first place.MASSIVE SPOIERS TO FOLLOW: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

You'd think they'd be affected somehow. Otherwise it would be like having only one set of ancients spaning every reality... Darn it, I was just going to bed too!!! Now I'll be up all night, gee thanks guys. What if the hokey-pokey really is what it's all about?
Spoiler:I made a big decision a little while ago.
I don't remember what it was, which prob'ly goes to show
That many times a simple choice can prove to be essential
Even though it often might appear inconsequential.
I must have been distracted when I left my home because
Left or right I'm sure I went. (I wonder which it was!)
Anyway, I never veered: I walked in that direction
Utterly absorbed, it seems, in quiet introspection.
For no reason I can think of, I've wandered far astray.
And that is how I got to where I find myself today.
