good suggestion there has to be some logic behind it
but he ends up preaching origin. im hoping hes on ourside trying to prove a point to the ancients that what their are doing will kill them, with him being the example, or it could be mere revenge.
What if Daniel was a supporter of the Ori while he was ascended?

Im really hoping that Some other Ancient might help him later on find his missing knowledge that he had when he was Ascended ...
Maybe he becomes a prior with the help of one of the Ancient (possibly Morgan la fay) like a double agent kind of thing, to get information on the Ori

When you become a prior, you give yourself freely to the Ori and a mental link is formed. Hence how the Priors know when Ori activity occurs. In other words, double agenting is rather impossible.
Daniel is frustrated with the Ancients. THis may be his way of forcing their hands.
