    Speculation... on Daniel's acension...

    What if Daniel was a supporter of the Ori while he was ascended?
    Maybe this would explain why...

    That would never happen. If he was the Ancients would have killed him. Or he would have tried to go to their galaxy.

      Oma deascended him though... and the ancients have not stopped the Ori from sending humans with their knowledge into the galaxy...

      And Oma did say that "The Others would have been far more unkind"

        I Believe Since Daniel Knows (believes at the present time) The Ancients Will Not Help And That "We're In This Alone" ... Daniel Becomes A Prior, Knowing Or Hoping To Retain His Knowledge. Then. He Has Some Power He Can Use Against The Ori (this assuming he doesn't say screw it and going out all evil on Earth).

            but he ends up preaching origin. im hoping hes on ourside trying to prove a point to the ancients that what their are doing will kill them, with him being the example, or it could be mere revenge.

                  supporting their philosophy of making the lower beings worship them and draining power from them...?

                      Im really hoping that Some other Ancient might help him later on find his missing knowledge that he had when he was Ascended ...

                        Maybe he becomes a prior with the help of one of the Ancient (possibly Morgan la fay) like a double agent kind of thing, to get information on the Ori

                              When you become a prior, you give yourself freely to the Ori and a mental link is formed. Hence how the Priors know when Ori activity occurs. In other words, double agenting is rather impossible.

                              Daniel is frustrated with the Ancients. THis may be his way of forcing their hands.
