Mitchell is amazing. He puts a real energy on the show. And he's totally hilarious!

I like Landry.
Lam seems nice.
I'm fairly neutral Vala-wise at the moment, but I could learn to like her.
Out of every character to ever appear on the show, Mitchell is the one I most dislike.

I love all the new characters except for Lexa/Lam. She is stiff, boring, doesn't smile, and is just plain unlikable. Plus she has that long hair that gets in her face that no doctor would allow. She needs to pull it back or cut it. Better yet, replace her.

Vala's fun.

Landry:
He's no Hammond, but like his daughter, he needs time to be devolped on the show (It's only been one season). Took me a while to really get a feel for Hammon anyway. Most of the time (from what I remember) it was a lot of "You have a go." or "Godspeed". Landry does seem more up front (read: his first conversation with Cameron).

Vala:
Love the character. Love Claudia Black. Quite the antithesis of the others at times, although obviousy well intentioned

Cam: Absolutly love the character. Cam is obviously channeling Chriton in moments, like flipping out when Teal'c shot at the one wall that was keeping them in the room with the puzzle. He's not RDA, he's a different character entirely. Less sardonic, more brash. I'm still curious, however, why they took Sam out of the lead of the squad.

Lam:
I don't know yet. She's not quite the character Janet was, but then again, Janet's character had time to devolp. I'm sure I'll like her. The tension with her Dad does add a bit or realism to the show though. [Side note: How does one pronounce 'Doig'? Doy-g? Do-ig?]

Four points:

I never liked Lam until I worked our she is in Andromeda and rocks (just started watching it on paytv).

I'm not a big fan of the new general. Hammond 4eva.

Mitchel is great (and nice on the eyes).

I hated Vala at first, but she's grown on me quite a bit.
