mate not being rude, i don't care if they've had 1 year non contested building or 5 years there's no way they should have a single fleet that large! thats several thousand ships, that one fleet alone almost equals the Wraith at their peak! Hundreds of ships a day is also ridiculas! the Tau'ri would probably have less ships than that galaxy wide! They had virtually nothing left after the end of the Wraith and Reaper conflicts and don't get me started on the Asgard...
you need to dial the fleets down otherwise it's just going to be a joke

Im kinda on the same bank as Buba, the fleets are massive, and hundreds of ships a day..firstly, where do you get the resources for that kind of opperation? Because im sure the pegasus galaxy is running our after having the anceints, the asurians, the wraith, the reapers and us building thousands of ships for 10 thousand years.
also i dont understand how you could do that, even with the most advanced construction facilities (our ships are literally beamed together) it still takes four months to produce a deadalus class, 14 months to produce a Leviathon.
I just dont see how you can get more advanced than that..if they are going to have large fleets we need to know how they got them.

indeed, i put the wraith at being able to build/grow or whatever they do hive ships in one month (thats to account for the fact that they were able to literally over run the ancients despite taking heavy losses) and you've got a couple of shipyards pumping out hundreds per day! i know you're trying to make them seem impressive an all but thats far too many...
our fleet is pretty smashed up between the attack on Earth with cost virtually our entire fleet at the Reaper incident i'm going to write set in 2037 the fleet is going to be pretty weakened, the asgard are going to have no more than about 18 Oneills at this stage after fighting the Wraith...
this is also about the Tau'ri fleet, you seem to focusing alot on their enemies remember the Tau'ri need to win it (preferably) and there's no way they can beat these guys at the moment...
These new enemies don't neccessarily have to be stronger than the Wraith, if we're being honest the only thing better than Hive ships with asgard shields are the Ori (and Reapers, ancients) no one else would be able to handle them canonically speaking if you don't agree look at the weapon figures obvserved and calculated in the Wraith/Hive ship tech guide...
the battle is good i like it but the fleets need to be toned down significantly, these races shouldn't really be as powerful as the Wraith

I would actually prefer that new enemies be less numerous but more powerfull. We also have to take in to account the return of the Lantians, they will now have some say over matters. Essentially the Tauri and lantian and Asgard forces in the PG are slowly becoming one force, so if you want to make an enemies i think something which reflects that would be good. Like in the V2 we have the aschen which instead of being a evil enemy they are a rival superpower, but with different goals and methods.
I would prefer an enemy which is powerfull but powerfull in other ways. For example; the krom are a family/clan based species, which has advanced technology of unknown power. If you set them up as a goauld type species, in which each family or clan control of region of space, perhaps their local solar system, and has been hidden from the wraith and evolved to a point where they are a threat in secret. At this point they are still quite weak in that they have a few powerfull ships but a large alien population. When we defeat the wraith they will have no idea what the state of play out in the galaxy is, they may not even know that the wraith are gone. And so we should find out about how we provoke them, how have we done wrong. A war isnt started on the principle that "we need a war". If we go to thier world and accidentily anger them or cause political unrest then war is valid.
The point is, we cant have them come out of nowhere and attack us, its pointless. maybe they are old enemies of the ancients, or percieve the ancients as enemies because they left them to die long ago.
also the fleets cannot be large, they can be powerfull, very powerfull is fine, but large means that we as a race cant beat them. Also at this point in time all three major races in pegasus are weakened, yes the ancients have returned and got thier empire back up to a fair standard, but the Tauri and the Asgard have been fighting this war together for over 20 years. Our forces are depleted and we need a bit of time to get on our feet. How about the Krom are the ancients enemy, the ancients start the new war and we have to catch up quickly before they go and do more damage than is needed.
We ally ourselves with the Triumvernt, and they become, like the Asgard used us, our surregate fleet. The ancients and triumverent fight and while we direct from the background building up and rebuilding our forces.
Fact is that after the attack on earth the tauri, in both this galaxy and the MW are crushed, and need alot of time to rebuild in order to fight another war.

I agree though obviously more detail and rough edges need to be worked out, though i still maintain that the Wraith and Reapers should be more powerful than the new enemies...we're weakened now and these new enemies are only just getting started they shouldn't be as powerful as the Wraith and Reapers for quite a while if at all and it'll take the Tau'ri and Asgard many years to regain what power they had...i doubt the ancients are in a brilliant state either though it's deffinately better than ours...
at the end of the day where this war takes us is up to NoDot but the fleets have to be tuned down! i suggets you check with us once you decided on fleet numbers just to make sure so there aren't further difficulties

War!!! The war had finally made it’s way to earth, after over a week of fighting the planet was starting to crumble under the pressure of the enormous Wraith armada, but reinforcements were on there way, the Phoenix battle fleet was travelling through a hyperspace tear made by the Supergate directly to Earth and the Hades fleet was rallying support from across the Milky Way to retake Earth. The activation of the ancient outpost had bought the Tau’ri time, but only time…
General Drac stood on the bridge of the Superhive seething with a barely controlled rage, with the loss of the lions share of his Predator fleet the battle on Earth would be extended far beyond the acceptable limit, and he knew the Tau’ri were coming. His plans ruined he ordered all ships to break off the attack and return to orbit, he was going to bomb the planet from orbit!
“The Seas will boil, and the rivers will run red with blood for ever daring to meddle in our affairs!” proclaimed General Drac. The fleet above Earth began to disperse across the planet with most of it concentrated in the northern hemisphere but before they could get into to position and fire one of the Wraith ships detected a strange anomaly just past the moon. Three Wraith cruisers were sent, they were moving to investigate when the anomaly suddenly burst into a huge hyperspace window and out of it emerged the Phoenix battle fleet after several days traversing the hyperspace corridors they’d arrived!
The Cruisers were annihilated in the cleansing fire of the fleets opening volley. The Wraith fleet was taken completely by surprise, Drac hadn’t been expecting reinforcements so soon, but the Phoenix fleet was outnumbered and outgunned. He quickly ordered the entire remaining Predator wing as well as a large chunk of the cruisers to engage the fleet. Led by Drac’s old flagship they quickly targeted and fired at the event horizon of the hyperspace tear causing it to become unstable and collapse destroying or stranding the rest of the Pegasus fleet which had been travelling slightly behind the Phoenix fleet. Backed into a corner and completely alone the captain of the Leviathon ordered the fleet forward, attacking with ferocity never seen before the Tau’ri desperately tried to give the Hades fleet enough time to arrive. With tactics the Tau’ri’s greatest asset they held the Wraith at bay but they were taking a beating. The smaller more manoeuvrable Tau’ri ships flew in between the larger Wraith ships firing nukes at close range to maximise damage, flying so close also meant many of the Wraith ships were being hit by friendly fire. During the course of the battle the Leviathon once again found itself facing down Drac’s flagship but this would be the last time they would meet. Both ships opened fire with all batteries, exchanging blows for the better part of a minute but the flagship had an impressive amount of firepower and it’s point defence canons meant fewer and fewer missiles got through and hit there mark, the Leviathon was taking damage and began evasive manoeuvres attempting to retreat but the flagship was incredibly agile for it’s size. Just when all seemed lost and the flagship was bearing down on the Leviathon a second hyperspace window opened…the Jaffa!
A large force of ha’tak vessels and Ubertaks emerged from hyperspace to help the Tau'ri in their darkest hour! Firing a volley from there energy canons they destroyed several weakened Wraith ships, however the Wraith reacted immediately destroying several Ha’tak in the first volley their Goa’uld shields unable to match the Wraith firepower their ships crumbled under the strain the Wraith weapons effortlessly breaking through their shields. The Jaffa vessels were dated technologically and were not match for even the Wraith cruisers. The Ha'taks however did have superior maneuverability and used it to fly circles around the more powerful Wraith vessesl hammering them with volly after volly of weapon fire. Only the Ubertaks could go toe to toe with the Wraith warships and only just barely. Seeing the plight of the Leviathon two Ubertaks moved in to attack the flagship, the Ubertaks swooped in and opened fire. The blasts hit home striking a shimmering green wall of energy, the flagship wiped the Ubertaks out in the counter attack the advanced Jaffa warships bursting into flames but the distraction gave the Leviathon the chance it needed to escape through the burning wreckage of the Jaffa vessels.Though unable to turn the tide of battle the Jaffa provided enough of a distraction for the Tau’ri fleet to regroup and begin a counter offensive…
Above Earth General Drac was not concerned with the battle and continued to coordinate the annihilation of the Tau’ri, ordering a small group of Hives to target the largest groupings of life signs on the planet, the first volley wiped out millions as the wraith systematically targeted and destroyed targets on the surface. General Drac laughed manically to himself drawing some sadistic pleasure from the extinction of the Tau’ri, but out in the vastness of space the battle continued to rage…
The Tau’ri offensive pushed the Wraith onto the defensive but the advantage was quickly regained and the Wraith once again pressed hard on the Tau’ri lines. The Wraith fleet encircled the Tau'ri cutting off their escape and tearing them to shreds. Sensing the Leviathon’s weakness the over zealous captain of Drac’s flagship broke formation and headed straight for the Leviathon intent on it’s destruction, the Leviathon’s shields were down to 30% and it couldn’t withstand a confrontation, but planning to use the flagships speed and the captains recklessness against them Captain Richardson of the Leviathon ordered the ship to fall back best speed and divert all power to the aft shields. The flagship quickly matched the Leviathon’s speed and closed the gap unleashing the full force of it's weapon batteries on the Leviathon, though the shields were taking a beating the Leviathon continued on course until the flagship was almost directly above them, then suddenly with an incredible feat of tactical ingenuity Richardson ordered a full stop cutting all power to the engines and activating maximum reverse thrust. The flagship catipulted past the Leviathon exposing it’s rear, with the point defence canons facing the front and unable to react in time the Leviathon released a devastating barrage of over three dozen nukes straight into the rear of the flagship smashing into the shields bringing them down and literally vaporising a third of the hull causing secondary explosions moments later destroying the ship.
Unfazed the Wraith continued to press their advantage and were on the verge of victory, the Phoenix fleet was battered and almost two thirds of the fleet had been destroyed, but they continued to fight the hopeless battle. The Wraith were reckless in there attacks often leaving themselves open to attack so they could do more damage but with numerical superiority it made little difference the Phoenix fleet could do nothing against so large a force. Just as the Wraith armada closed in for the final blow another of Earths allies arrived, the Asgard had come!
They burst forth guns blazing sending shock waves through the Wraith fleet. Though not enough to win the battle they were enough to even the odds against the Wraith fleet sent against them and with a renewed spirit and Earths allies rallied around them the fleet fought on. Holding the line the Allied fleet made the Wraith pay dearly for every ship they took but with most of the Wraith fleet yet to join the battle the outcome looked bleak. The Asgard were smashing ships left and right the Oneills making straffing runs across the bows of the Wraith warships, but after only minutes of battle their shields were beginning to buckle and they were still no closer to winning. The Wraith were too numerous and the weight of fire power too great...
Finally in the eleventh hour their comm rads ships falling apart around them the Hades fleet finally arrived to save the Phoenix fleet and Earth, the Cerberus burst out of hyperspace guns blazing with the rest of the fleet not far behind. The Wraith could only look on in horror as the wrath of the Tau’ri rained down on them. Within seconds a dozen Wraith ships had been destroyed. The Wraith fought a fighting retreat as they fled back to Earth outnumbered and outgunned the Wraith rejoined the main fleet in orbit ready for the final send off after suffering heavy losses.

I was looking at the ship ratios (Thank you for making me look at the numbers; I stink with just numbers, apparently. I should make a pie chart next time.) and they're way off what I'd have normally done. (Gunship:Battleship ratio is 2:1!) I'll take your advice under consideration.
[edit] OK, my new sig should clarify terms for future interaction between myself and other members.

Major General Sheppard looked out from the bridge of the Cerberus, Earth was in ruins the Wraith had wiped out over two billion people with orbital strikes already, the fleet had to react quickly if Earth was to survive. The Phoenix fleet however was in a bad way, most ships were barely functionial with shields severly depleted and they had all expended most of their ordinance but unable to wait lest earth be destroyed the fleet technicians did what they could as the fleet pressed on to Earth,
“Captain, what’s your status?” asked General Sheppard.
“Not good, are shields are down to 23% and we haven’t got 5 nukes between us, and you took your time…” replied Richardson captain of the Levaithon.
“…Well traffic was murder. We’ll beam over as many supplies as possible." Sheppard responded. "We need to move now, the Wraith cannot be allowed to gain a foothold here not only for the sake of our people but for the sake of the galaxy. If we fail here today the Wraith will spread across the milky way like a cancer…they must be stopped once and for all!” Captain Richardson spoke with an iron determination as the fleet for the final time went once more into the breach…
The fleet got into position, the Wraith fleet nearly blacked out the Earth but the Tau'ri fleet could still make out huge fires on the surface. Smoke rose from Earth, the planet was burning. Huge pillars of ash rose hundreds of kilometres into the air. Asia was the hardest hit especially China, parts of Europe were also hit hard as were areas of North America. The damage was however not irreparable, and there was still hope for the citizens of Earth, if the Wraith could be stopped. In high orbit the Wraith fleet mobilised around the Superhive, General Drac watched the Allied fleets approach and with a wicked grin hailed them,
“Aaah Sheppard and the good captain Richardson I was hoping we’d meet again so i'd get a chance to kill you.” General Drac.
“Drac…I should have known you were behind this you coward, I missed you during the battle with the Reapers, hiding as usual. You’ve gone to far this time.” Sheppard replied.
“You fool! It was you who started this war with us! Our wrath shall be felt across the galaxy and it will rain down like fire and brimstone on all those who ever dared to oppose us! This is your final hour Sheppard and I will make sure before you die you see your planet and it’s people burn” Roared General Drac as he ordered all ships to attack.
“Here they come…all ships fire at will!!” Captain Richardson of the Leviathon.
The Skies above Earth suddenly erupted with gun fire as the two massive fleets exchanged blows and fought to decide Earths eternal fate. The Allied forces launched all fighters and began firing ordnance into the Wraith lines. The Wraith ship’s shields took a battering from the barrage with several smaller ships losing shields in the opening volley. The Allied forces had learned their lessons well and aimed for the weak spots tearing out the hive dart bays but the return fire from the Wraith ships was draining their shields fast. The Leviathon cruised past a damaged Hive ships firing it's energy canons into the shieldless dart bays destroying the ship with secondary explosions. The Wraith bombers pummelled the Allied shields and vapourising chunks of the unshielded vessels hulls. While in the skies above Earth an epic dogfight was taking place the largest air battle in the history of the universe. The Tau’ri fighters were greatly outnumbered but help was soon to reveal itself, large fighter squadrons hidding from the Wraith emerged out of hiding for the final battle and above the cities and in the atmosphere the fighters clashed. Wraith darts weaved in and out of the buildings limiting the Tau'ri use of missiles, while the Darts with no worry for collateral damage destroyed buildings sending wreckage hurtling into the Tau'ri air craft...
In space the battle raged on, the Wraith warships were overpowering many of the larger Tau’ri vessels who were struggling to hold their own, but what the Tau’ri lacked in brute force they made up for in speed but against such a large fleet weaving in between the larger Wraith ships would be suicidal as the cross fire from the ships would drain their shields in seconds. With no other options the fleet was forced to engage the Wraith head on but they met limited success taking heavy casulties. The Wraith fleet moved forward as one grinding down all Tau'ri vessels before it and with the main fighter wings engaged on the planet below ordance was effortlessly intercepted forcing the Tau'ri to engage at point blank range where they were most vunerable to Wraith's ungodly amount of weaponary.General Drac was a great strategist and there were no holes in the Wraith lines the Wraith held there ground leaving no weakness for the Alliance the exploit. The Cerberus flew across the bow of a Hive ship taking heavy fire as it emptied everything it had into the collosal warship, two predators reacted immediately opening fire on the Cerberus caught in the crossfire the asgard shields dropped fast. Three Valkeries swooped in using there superior manueverability to stay ahead of the Wraith armada, postioning themselves between the Cerberus and the Predators the Valkeries fired all main energy canons penetrating the shields of one of the Predators by firing in a concentrated pattern forcing it to retreat the second predator was quickly backed up by four cruiser who quickly destroyed on of the Valkeries forcing them to break up and seek shelter from the onslaught.
Down on the planet, the cities were being evacuated with everyone ordered to leave. The battle was so desperate that the Tau'ri fighters were forced to fire ordance across the cityscape despite civilians still in the vincinity. The battle in space was brutal and we were losing, with no other options left the fighters were recalled from their battle with the darts and bombers to launch a massive coordinated nuclear strike on the centre of the Wraith fleet. The fighters rose through the atmosphere closely followed by scores of Wraith darts, hundreds of fighters were destroyed as they closed to the minimum safe distance and then passed it. With the fighters now at point blank range and the Tau’ri fleet in position both launched over half their ordnance into the Wraith centre. The results were catastrophic, hit from the front and from below many Wraith ships succumbed to the attack as hundreds of nukes tore into the Heart of the Wrait offensive, the shockwave from the blast vaporised many fighters both Tau’ri and Wraith but it was the Wraith who suffered the most. The Wraith were stunned by the magnitude of the attack and this gave the Tau’ri the time needed to go on the offensive, the entire fleet surged forward cutting the Wraith to shreds amidst the confusion as Wraith vessels struggled to regroup and reform the line but once the Wraith regained their composure the real battle began. With the fleet surrounded the Oneills were sitting ducks, knowing the danger of the Asgard the Wraith mercilessly destroyed the Asgard forces. Having lost alot of shield intergrity the Leviathon took shelter under the wing of an Oneill warship which moved to defend the vessel. Four Hives descended on the Oneill from all sides together with the Leviathon one of the Hives was destroyed but the Oneill quickly followed.
The Tau’ri had broken a large hole in the Wraith lines but they were now being crushed surrounded on all sides, desperate to gain the upper hand the fleet captains ordered the fleet to go for the Superhive if Drac was killed the Wraith might be confused enough for the Tau’ri to win the day. The whole fleet moved forward behind the 4 remaining Oneills, the Leviathon and Cerberus and about a dozen smaller ships. The fleet punched through the Wraith lines though at a great cost of life as many ships were lost in the action as the Wraith surrounded and pummeled the fleet in a crossfire. The small fleet led by the Leviathon and Cerberus fleet managed to make it through but the Wraith quickly closed the hole cutting off all support. The battle quickly descended into chaos with Tau'ri ships stranded across the Wraith lines were fighting on all sides. The small Alliance force raced to intercept the Superhive which was waiting in high orbit on the other side of the planet overseeing the battle. It was being guarded by 5 hives which swiftly moved into attack postion, the Allied attack force seperated with the Tau'ri vessels targeting the escorts and the Leviathon, Cerberus and Oneills continuing on course for the Superhive. General Drac looked on and laughed before giving the order to fire. The guns on the Superhive erupted forth 2 weakened Oneills succumbed to the fire almost instantly, the order for evasive manoeuvres was given, the fleet had grossly underestimated the Superhive’s firing range and payed for it. Drac finally gave into his blood lust and ordered the Superhive forward towards the T/A-A fleet. The Superhive steamrolled ahead towards the main battle, the Allied attack force broke up into smaller groups in an attempt to better evade fire; the Oneills fighting it head on with the Leviathon and Cerberus making strafing runs independently. Despite numerous nuke strikes and continued bombardments from the Oneills and Leviathon classes energy canons the Superhive’s shields held, Drac looked on smugly as the Allied forces futilely tried to stop him. The Superhive was too much for the Tau'ri to handle their shields unable to resist the amount of firepower hitting them they were forced to regroup and fall back. The Tau'ri ships fighting the escorts quickly broke off the attack to join the battle with the Superhive though making little difference.
The main battle was brutal, the Wraith bombers ran amok across the Tau’ri lines tearing damaged ships apart, with limited fighter support the Tau’ri could do nothing against the smaller and more agile Wraith fighters and bombers. With most of their ordnance expended the battle looked like it would go in the Wraith's favour, fortunately Earth was able to re-supply ships but they could do nothing for the damaged shields and ships were dropping like flies. Most of the older Wraith ships had already been destroyed as their main role was to shield the newer warships but most of the Hive ships still remained and were bearing down on the Tau’ri defences. The Tau'ri fleet had managed to regroup but without significant numbers of ships lost their ability to attack the Wraith had been severely diminished and the Wraith were too well organised…

final section...
The fight against the Superhive wasn’t going much better, the smaller ships were evading most of the fire but their shields failed in seconds from sustained fire. It was the Asgard who suffered the most, the Oneills were literally snapped in two by the Wraith assault and the Superhive had reached the Tau'ri defense perimetre. Left with no other hope for victory the entire Allied attack force regrouped for a combined attack on the Superhive, using their advanced targeting computers they prepared to focus their entire attack on a small section of the shield. Drac unconcerned moved into the midst of the battle and began targeting and destroying the Tau’ri fleet crushing resistance, with the threat of defeat looming ever closer the captain of the Leviathon ordered all available ships to focus their fire on the Superhive. Dozens of ships moved into position and fired though they were wrecked by the return fire. The strong and concentrated nuke attack put tremendous stress on the shields of the Superhive, the impact of hundreds of nukes on less than a square kilometre though not enough to drain the shields caused the shield generators to buckle. Drac realised what they were doing too late and unable to take the strain the shields generators overloaded sending shock waves across the ship and together with secondary explosions knocked out 80% of it’s power generation capacity essentially crippling it. The Superhive was a sitting duck with weapons operating at less than 5% and no shields, but the rest of the fleet fought on, forming a wall around the Superhive destroying any ship that got near it. Enraged by the crippling of his flagship Drac ordered his only fully operational weapon to fire, the shield disruptor!
In the skies above Earth the battle continued, the Wraith were now on the defensive but numerical superiority was still on their side. The Leviathon and Cerberus were engaging the main fleet, using guerrilla tactics to wear down Wraith defences. The last remaining Oneill was wreaking havoc on the Wraith lines when suddenly a bright flash shot out of the Superhive consuming the Oneill in a blinding flash of light, seconds later it was gone. The Superhive began to systematically eradicate the Tau’ri fleet, a dozen ships were lost within a minute and the Wraith once again went on the offensive. Desperate to end the Wraith tyranny the Cerberus and Leviathon braved the Wraith fleet and went on the attack, dodging the canon fire they closed the gap between them and charged their energy canons. Sensing the end Drac ordered the canon to target the Cerberus full charge and laughed manically. Though taking heavy fire from all sides the two ships closed to point range attempting to get a precise lock on the beam emitterof the shield disurpter. The canon reached full charge and Drac gave the order to fire, energy surged down the barrel of the weapon as the beam emitter reached critical energy levels. The Cerberus and Leviathon finally acquired a lock and not a second too soon and with a final of act of deffiance released nearly two dozen energy blasts directly at the emitter. Time seemed to stand still as the energy blasts soared towards the emitter, it was as if both fleets held their breath waiting to see who would emerge. The emitter fully charged was nano seconds from discharging it’s payload when the Leviathon and Cerberus hit home, the force of the blasts smashed the emitter to pieces causing the energy blast built up in the emitter to discharge across the ship! The force of the explosion tore through the ship causing it to completely lose power and causing devastating secondary explosions, the hull began to break apart and without power the internal force fields couldn’t be erected. The ship literally fell to pieces. Caught in the Earths gravity field it began to plummet to the surface several hive ships unable to manoeuvre out the way were caught in it’s decent and destroyed…
Shocked by the loss of their flagship the Wraith fleet became disorganised and fell to ruin with many ships attempting to escape the battle, amidst the chaos the Tau’ri quickly took control of the battle hitting the Wraith ships in the rear as they attempted to escape or collapsing the hyperspace windows they were opening. The Wraith unable to put up an organised defence were quickly beaten as with no leader the drones were clueless as to how to continue and with no clear leader the Wraith ships took to infighting, though many fighters and bombers escaped into Earths atmosphere and escaped and several hives and cruisers fled into the Milky Way and beyond. The Tau’ri forces let out a mighty cheer as the Wraith fled the scene finally the war was over aside from a few continuing skirmishes, unfortunately General Drac disagreed…
The Superhive was in turmoil destruction was imminent the Superhive wouldn’t survive re-entry and it was already starting to break up and explode. General Drac roared with rage as the ship collapsed around him, unable to save the ship he ran to the hanger bay where many Wraith were fleeing attempting to escape the blaze. Making it to his personal transport ship he managed to escape the ship with an entourage seconds before it exploded and set a course for the Cerberus. The Cerberus was critically damaged it had no shields and interference from the exploding Superhive was blocking sensors, the Wraith transport rose through the atmosphere directly towards the Cerberus. It was detected too late. The Cerberus detected their approach just in time and fired all main coil guns at the transport destroying it but not soon enough, the wreckage flew directly into Cerberus’s hull causing structural damage to 4% of the ship. Not seriously damaged the Cerberus continued with repairs but the helmsman noticed an unusual energy spike which appeared before the ship was destroyed but with sensors not totally reliable nothing was thought of it. Suddenly seconds later General Drac and a group of Wraith soldiers appeared on the bridge which erupted with gun fire, taken by surprise most of the Tau’ri officers were slaughtered. Sheppard and several officers reacted quickly and a savage gun battle ensued but with internal communications down Sheppard and his men were alone. The fight quickly boiled down to Sheppard and Drac, Drac tore Sheppard’s men apart and through him across the room. Sheppard staggering to his feet and managed to get half a dozen shots off from his hand gun before Drac disarmed him and beat him down.
“You fool Sheppard! You've brought destruction upon your entire race! As long as i live it will never be over, I go on and on forever!" Drac laughed as it choked the life out of Sheppard
"You’ve only delayed the evitable…others will come we are a relentless race, now die!” Drac cackled insanely as he throttled Sheppard and lifted his arm up to feed.
“Go…to…hell!” Sheppard stammered as he used the last his strength to grab Drac’s hand stunner. Before Drac could react sheppard fired, the stunner set to full power sent Drac staggering back a hole a foot wide in his gut as the blast burned him away, refusing to die Drac roared with rage and limped towards Sheppard who rose to his feet and repeatedly blasted Drac disintegrating him bit by bit. With his dieing breath Drac cursed Sheppard and the Tau’ri before collapsing dead. The war was finally over…

This battle was the final major conflict of the war, and marked the end of the Alliance and Wraith war. The Wraith were never again to stalk the galaxies and threaten the humans of the universe again, but this last attack had further reaching consequences, the battle cost the Tau’ri nearly 4 billion lives as well as most of their combined fleet. The next 15 years would be spent rebuilding and this battle left the Tau'ri vulnerable when their new enemies revealed themselves…
Though the Wraith fleet was broken several ships were never accounted for and escaped to unknown parts of the universe and the clean up operation on Earth in the MW lasted months. Though this may not be the last we see of the Wraith, they are relentless and do not forget…
ok thats it, the Earth battle in all it's glory:D....please give me feedback on the revisions!
I was looking at the ship ratios (Thank you for making me look at the numbers; I stink with just numbers, apparently. I should make a pie chart next time.) and they're way off what I'd have normally done. (Gunship:Battleship ratio is 2:1!) I'll take your advice under consideration.
[edit] OK, my new sig should clarify terms for future interaction between myself and other members.
loool, thanks just make sure their fleets don't get too big...

Ok so i am going to introduce a new set of stars to this thread. Its going to be a change from what is usually going on but i hope it will be good. I am going to be writing a series of preludes to a new branch of the fleet. This branch will be focusing on the politics and goverment of the new pegasus galaxy.
Over the past 40 years human expansion in to the pegasus galaxy, the arrival of the asgard, the Defeat of the wraith, the return of the ancients. These events have shaped and moulded the pegasus galaxy in to a thriving, advanced, multicultural and powerful galaxy that rivals the milky way and surpasses it. The combination of these factors have had a dramatic and profound impact on the Peoples of Pegasus and i want to give some deeper insight in to how the actions of the fleet have affected this galaxy. I also want to lay the foundation for a new era in the history of the galaxy, where the three superpowers of our age, the Tauri, The asgard and The Newly reborn alteran civilzation will be set to repell the subversions of new enemies from both outside and within. The age of the Wraith is over, the time of the Allience of Three great races is about to begin.
The Gateworld fleet is going to change, it needs change, no longer do we have one single enemy to fight, the wraith and reapers are long gone. The triumverent and krom are about to emerge. These forces are young and while there will be battles which they shall prove themselves formidable, the forces they combat are far to powerful now to succum to them. I am hoping that this new era, which i am hoping to bring about will mean people will consider the politics more than the military side of the gateworld fleet.
I will be posting several pieces of Fleet "fanfic" in which our new allience will be made, as well as the introduction of some very old threats ;) which will attempt to usurp them.

The shield.
The shield are an extreamely secretive and powerfull organisation that have been responsible and continue to be a major influence on the tides of power within our region of space.
The Shield began many millenia ago during a time when four powerfull races ruled the stars in our region of space. The Great allience was comprised of the Asgard, Ancients, Nox and Furling and between them were the four dominant life forms of that time. The shield was the Alliences version of the illuminate society, they like many others wanted to secure the allience against enemies that posed significant threats, from outside and from within.
The Shield recruited high ranking and influential member of the four races and manipulated them in to serving the collective shields interests. This secret order of high power became masterminds of over 8 galaxys, gaining them, in secret immense power and resources to command.
all of a sudden the ancients began to lose the war to the wraith; the nox became pacifists; the furlings fell down with a plague (the same one that kill the ancients, but had taken this much time to reach thier own region of space) and the asgard became reclusive after thier cloning problems began. The power of the allience and therefore the Shield's influence vanished for over ten thousand years. The Shield used the most advanced preservation technology ever invented, combined with a ZPM to power it. The entire order was put in suspended animation in a cloaked and unknown ship in a remote region of the galaxy. The ZPM could keep the cloak and status working for almost half a million years however thier bodies could not be preserved perfectly. The needed to be rotationally healed to thier former state. The Shield had access to the Telchak healing devices and every 500 years they would all awake, heal themselves, and return to slumber. Their bodies never aged and for 10,000 years the Shield has been kept alive and in pefect health.
Things have changed though, the tides of power may once be strong enough to call them back to the fray, The Asgard have grown strong, the Lantian civilaztion is rebuilding, and humanity is in a stronger position than ever before. The Shield decided that now was the time to emerge from hiding, and the Legend of the Shields power to once again be a reality.
The shield's 185 knights left, taking a ship each the travelled far and wide and planted themselves deep within the Societies of thi time. Furlings, Nox, Asgard, Ancients. True members of the Allience returning to the seats of power once more.
I have more to come from the Shield and expect them to be a feature in this new era. They will become recuring allies or enemies depending on what thier agenda is.
Other factions and "character":
- The Allience of the great races
- The Asgard high council
- The lantian Supreme council
- The Atlantis Fellowship
- The goverment and peoples of New london, the Capitol of the Pegasus galaxy.
- The peoples of Asuris
- The Peoples of Valhalla
- Pegasus Defence Fleet command
Hopefully during the stories we can fill in the gaps in the war. The ramifications of Battle and waring on the people of Pegasus. One of the major things was that many millions of People migrated to Earth colonies, and as a result the umbrella of protection became larger. People felt secure knowing the Humans protect everyone, living amounst them was better than trying to survive again an ever expanding and greedy wraith empire. Our peoples banded together and over the decades became one. New London, just as London is today, became a multicultural city unlike any other. It quickly became one of the largest, most populated, and fastest changing cities anywhere. It surpasses atlantis now, after having almost every free people living there at one point, it has quarters and areas that support every culture in pegasus, simple or advanced. After the battle for new london Valhalla remained and it became a part of the city, one that moved away for 8 months of the year. When it returned it was a massive thing because with the Asgard came many functions that people wanted. Resources, knowledge and technology. New London is the capitol of Pegasus for a major reason, because it is a Nexus for every culture that suvived and endured the enslavement to the wraith.

The first part of my new series is going to focus on the war with the wraith. I am going to go right back to the begining. There are things in the wraith war that have been left out. The main one is the reason why there are so many humans in pegasus.
In 2023 The public revelation of the stargate program happened on Earth. This coincided with the Defeat of the Ori shortly after, as well as the start of the war with the wraith.
These three massive events changed the course of our history and political turmoil on Earth, as well as the expansion in to new grounds left in the wake of the Ori made Humanity realise that there might be more to life elsewhere, a fresh start for those who wanted it.
The Peoples of Earth colonised hundreds of worlds in the next few years, mostly as part of business or govermental opperations. The MW had resources that were attractive to Earth's people. However the Pegasus galaxy really was a fresh start for many.
The AE and Asgard had set up nearly 40 Offworld bases, most were the size of the SGC, some in ancient ruins or on allied planets. The events of Earth over the next few years opened up Pegasus as a destination to Emergrates from Earth. Over the dates between 2023 and 2028, over 100,000 people came from Earth to pegasus.
SGC compounds, which were not meant for these numbers had to be severely modified, and over time, the populations went from tent camps, to villages, to towns, to cities. By the end of the war with the wraith, Earth peoples had created the most Advanced Cities in the Galaxy.
By the end of the war and during the closing stages, Earths displaced people had found a new home. They were no longer regarded and colonists, but Citizens of a new galaxy. Once they had found thier own home, others joined them. The facilities and quality of life in earth cities, under the protection of the Advanced fleets of warship...It was wanted by all, and members of every race flooded, and were welcomed, it was hard and wasnt perfect but over time Earth's Citizens became Pegasus citizens, and the free people of Pegasus came, followed our ways and integrated in to the society that was developing.
The greatest symbol of this process was New London. The Official capitol of Pegasus after 2034. It is home to over 100,000 poeple, every culture, the centre of politics, economics, defence, religion, law. It is a city that has grown from the site of a Pegasus Gamma site, in to new London a city without paralell in this galaxy, and the Largest Human Occupied world Outside of Earth.
The Lantians return, thier living in New London; it created tension. The Asgard has become accustomed to living amuonst less advanced cultures, they were an intregal part of this entire process. But the Ancients, thwey were arogent, untrusting, and condescending to lesser Races. They were a blessing, and a curse.
The refused to integrate full, creating a town within a city, which only they could access. Eventually they left and occupied the Asurian city of Asuris. This became thier new capitol, the Asgard didnt go with them, some did, but Valhalla thier own capitol remained and became part of New london when in the Galaxy. They even schooled and provided for the lower races. Advancing them slowly, as they had done with us.
The ancients returned and segregated themselves from most, they interacted with the Asgard and With the leaders of the Tauri, but kept themselves to themselves until it was required that they work with us. It was unreasonable to expect the most advanced race ever to live, to become part of a lesser society. But they could have tried, the asgard did, and they became much better off because of it.
The Asgard are a population low in number, just as the Lantians are, they provided us a fleet in which to enforce thier power in this galaxy. THey lost few lives and continued to grow as a race, albiet adapting to thier new situation gracefully. Valhalla was a major part of this process. With it they came a nomadic poeple, caring for many but looking after themselves in the best way possible. The city was a flying fortress, most powerfull than a Lantian city ship and much more important. with it they patroled over 6 galaxies, and aiding billions of humans, which had became thier friends and closest allys.
The integration of Human and advanced aliens has been one of the biggest parts of the Pegasus' recent history, everyone has benfitted, and the stability that resulted between those two types of races was a large factor in defeating the Wraith. The Stability afforded both the time needed to affect things on a larger scale and eventually resulted in them winning. Perhaps it is this integration, the melting of two ways of lving, that was the vital key to success. Maybe it was this, which the ancients never had, which made our war succeed where they failed.
I hope you enjoy it :)

ok this is the history of the Wraith after there defeat;
End of an Age
The war had come to a head, the Wraith and Tau'ri had been fighting in a full scale war for 10 years but the Wraith were more numberous than they had ever been! The war looked to be going the same way as the war with the ancients...defeat for the allies who were stuggling to keep up with the Wraith war machine. Now some call it luck others disaster but it was only the appearance of the Reapers that saved the Tau'ri from utter defeat, before the Reaper attack analyists had predicted that the war would be lost within 2 years...
The Reapers were the Wraith plus one, being more advanced and ruthless they quickly brought the Wraith and the galaxy to it's knees only an alliance between the allies and the Wraith avoided disaster and in a climatic battle the Reapers were defeated in the largest battle ever recorded by any known power. With the Reapers defeated the T/A-A were left with a strategic and military advantage one which they quickly pressed breaking the treaty and attacking the Wraith. Their numbers dimished the Wraith were worn down and in the chaos split once more into warring fractions. Amidst the confusion the Wraith were quickly conquered.
This treacherous attack did not go on unpunished as a Wraith general launched a devastating surprise attack on Earth killing billions but with his defeat the war came to a stunning conclusion.
The Pegasus galaxy was left charred and bloody but the Wraith were defeated and after 10,000 years of fear and destruction the people of Pegasus were free. The Wraith were defeated but not destroyed small fleets of ships escaped the devastation and the Wraith would still be a force in the galaxy for many years to come though the T/A-A were never threatened for galactic nominance. The Wraith only controled a handful of worlds near the edge of the galaxy though these were heavily defended and the Tau'ri could not risk ship resources until many years later.
The Wraith made several plays for galactic dominance over the years each time they were twarted, as the T/A-A grew in strength the Wraith slowly realised victory was now impossible and in 2056 their remaining fleet left the Pegasus galaxy towards an uncharted area of space vowing to return...
ok what do you think? i'm probably gonna add to it as it comes to me...

the series will end when the Wraith attempt to wipe out all human life in Pegasus, fail and flee the galaxy...
I will also be designing a new ship for the Wraith for this series though it's main function is not primarily as a warship:)

True members of the Allience returning to the seats of power once more. But it was no great welcome they recieved, they remained secret. Learning and Plotting, the power could be seen but was out of thier reach. They decided that something needed to be done, too regain the power base that was once thiers, to gain a foothold in the new power.
The foothold was chosen, it was to be a ship. The Lantians, Earthling and Asgard had been working together for many decades but had never truely done any kind of ship together. A ship possessing all three species respective technology would provide serious tactical and military advanced on all sides. If the shields alias's were building said ships they woudl regain thier base of power, however limited.
The Shield recruited prominant private sector experts from earth, that were experts in Earths military and in their space program, designers and engineers who had worked at Area 51, Atlantis, and on many of the private contracts loaned out when building our fleets.
Too these experts they added several of the greatest Ancient scientists, the Woman who built the Drone weapons, the man who invented the ZPM and the Man who designed the City of atlantis itself. They also added a Furling and Nox engineers and compiled a team of Asgard scientists from both the origional Shield and the new wave of recruits. On of these Scientists was Loki.
The shields team had limited resources and while they were arguable the greatest single concentration of corporeal knowledge anywhere they were able to design only a single vessel. The paradox,it was one of the most defencivly powerfull ships ever, it had more shielding and better hull structure than any ship there had ever been. Its weapons were mainly Asgard and Human, these were the most readily avalable. Even though the origional inventor of the Drone was on the team the materials used were very rare, they were either in use, depleted or under heavy gaurd by the new Lantian civilization. A third party ship building company would never have the authority to get those material and the weapons may need improving later down the Line.
The Shield Sent the Paradox under the command of an Ancient general agaisnt the Aschen, they saved the fleet and gained the trust of its crew. The Aschen fears the ship still, and the ancients and asgard are begging the shield's alias for the designs and production licences. The shield have begun to rebuild their power base. Only the future will tell what will befall our forces when the Shield shows itself next time...

Part One of the Paradox
It had been wondering space for many a millennia, it had seen the rise and fall of nations, races and existence.
General Malron looked out of the window; he looked out at the fleet of ships ready to wage their final fight against the Tau’ri. Malron left his room and entered the bridge of the Paradox, he looked at his crew and nodded, the time had come for the Paradox to emerge and the Shield to start a new age. The Paradox fired up its engines and glided past the Wraith Cruisers, it amazed the crew how far the Wraith had come but having learnt nothing. The Paradox made its way to the central Hive Ship, once within range the Paradox charged its beam weapons and fired. Four blue beams fired from the Paradox, to the Wraith it looked as though four beams just appeared out of no where. They struck with deadly accuracy and ripped the Hive ship apart, the Paradox immediately activated thrusters and moved out of their position as the closest Cruisers began firing upon their original spot. There was silence and all was still, the Wraith were in confusion, frozen with curiosity, what had just happened, where had it come from, who is there, all was about to be answered. The Paradox positioned itself and began its attack, moving through the fleet it unleashed its devastating weapons upon the ill prepared victims. General Malron ordered the launch of the Omni, they dropped from the cloaked ship and activated shields, their energy weapons attacking cruisers. The Paradox de-cloaked as the first of the Darts were launched, the fleet of fifteen Wraith Cruisers had been reduced to only five as the first ships began to retreat, the darts swarmed towards the Paradox only to be confronted by a carpet of fire, destroying their ranks. General Malron turned as the last of the cruisers were destroyed, they had captured some survivors, and Malron wanted some answers.

Thanks for bumping this thread, i needed to get back to writing. :)
The Paradox's launch in to the Pegasus's political spectrum caused some trouble at the top. A ship that contained all the technology of all three dominant pegasus races was a blessing but also a curse. This ship broke down all the barrier which seperated the three and while they were all friends, allys and deeply indebted to one another in some way; there had always been a division. This ship presented a problem to the Ancients most of all, who saw there technolgy as superior even when in some cases it really wasnt. The Ancients tried to shut down the Shield production facilities through political favours, they offered its owners and scientists high ranking positions in goverment and Alteran bases, but only if they shut down thier production and brushed the ship under the carpet.
The Shield's leaders were perfectly capable of predicting the moves of the Alterans, they knew this was going to happen and they planned it. THey demanded the positions that they needed to exert specific control of hat they wanted. Their generaly were put on important alteran mission; scientists put in charge of spaceial projects, politicials given office in Valuble communities. They orcestrated their moves in to powerfull positions under the guise that they had bowed to outside pressures and could be easily manipulated.
The Alterans were wrong, very wrong. The Shields power grew tenfold in the 6 months after the Paradox's completion. The Origional ship was still in service but was under thier control directly and they were starting to fight back.
Too be continued (ill resume after FA has completed his story)

yeah that was what i was thinking, i don't like little bits being added into exsisting stories either though may just be me...
I'm going to write some bits and bobs about the Wraith after the war when they try to reclaim the galaxy but i'll reserve judgement until i see the end of the story:)

It is set, five years after the Wraith defeat, a small fleet of ships on the outskirts of the Peragus galaxy. I have a small story line to finsih off about the Wraith and a member of the Paradox crew.

would you mind PMing me what you've done involving the Wraith, it's just that i basically did the entire Wraith timeline and i'd like to make sure it all fits...

none of it will effect your timeline that was the only real encounter with a Wraith fleet, the rest of the story line consists of Aschen and a small group of renegade wraith, that have long been apart from the fleet.

thats fine, there are isolated groups of wraith ships, but if your thinking about large fleets with anything more than 2 hives then think again; there are barely 10 hives left in pegasus, if they werent defeated by the reapers, T/A-A or ancients they were defeated in the skys above earth. Their really is nothing left of the wraith empire by this point.

not neccessarly true, the Wraith empire is destroyed but there are ships left they're just scattered across various strong holds etc (when i say strong holds i mean places which still have orbital defenses) they're industrial capability is crushed so they won't be building any more ships atleast not many but they still have a presense...
remember the T/A-A were hit just hard fleet wise the only difference we can easily make more...
i'm going to be writing a series where the Wraith attempt to subvert the T/A-A alliance...
i'll post the remaining Wraith fleet numbers...these are not all allied together btw
22 Hives - some damaged severly mostly operating alone on with a couple of others ~ 13 Fully operational
7 Predators - Mostly intact working with the strongest hive gatherings
18 Cruisors - Alligned with the strongest Hives mostly intact
3 Unknown types - These ships are basically a new ship class i'm going to unveil not a warship
? Darts and Bombers - Carried on Hives and Preditors
Thats the whole fleet...scattered across pegasus, there's about 30 hives and escorts that fled the galaxy after the Reaper invasion but they won't be seen for along time...but maybe we'll eccounter them again in another galaxy far far away:D
that sound ok?

Yeah thats fine, i dont really want to see the wraith back though, we kinda fought them enough and having them back would be a bit weird, i have gotten to the point where the wraith and with the Other fleet too, that the ori are not a threat any more. Now we can kind fight who we want to fight, ive always wanted to see the return of the Lantians and how that would effect things. I also love the Allience and that concept, i created Genesis for that reason and the shield shows that. Ive wanted the Aschen and Grace aliens back and in the other fleet that will come in to fruition soon. I just think that now we can be really creative and do whatever we want with this fleet. Having defeated the Wraith the Pegasus galaxy can become anything it wants to become and i find that really exciting.

i never planned on bringing them back...i agree the Wraith are defeated it would be a bit silly to bring them back. I'm just saying they are still out there we don't neccessarily have to write anything bout them...
don't worry i have no plans to bring the Wraith make as a major enemy though they will still be around in Pegasus for a long time to come hiding in forests etc...infact they're deffinately Wraith hiding on Earth aswell :O

Design Specifications
Shield - The new 302a2's are equiped with shielding as a new messure against the Ori, the shielding system itself was installed by the Tok'ra. Little is known about it.
Power Source - the new power source was provided by the inhabitans of Othalla, they donated the tech after carter helped with the space race and with the new aggression from the Ori. the power source itself is Ion based.
Armour & Hull - the armour and hull of the 302a2 remains the same as its brother the 302.
Engines - Designed by Tauri scientists from the gou'ld death gliders, make these ships highly agile and fast, it is said the asgard offered an tweak for these also.
Weapon Specifications
Tauri Projectile Mini-chaingun - designed and placed on fighter craft all over the world this weapon is equiped to the 302a2 as a backup close fighting weapon and the 302a2 only has one equiped.
Tauri Short Barreled Railgun - new invention made from the 303 class railguns these small batterys are a faster rate of fire using smaller rounds and shorter range. The new 302a2 has two of these at its desposal.
Tauri Missle system - the 302a2 has now 2 rotating cylinder missle pods within each wing with a maximum of 32 missles that can be launched. the 302a2 also has 6 clamped missle to the wings or can be equiped with 2 anti-battleship missles. (Missle Idea and design by Freyr's Mother)
hope this design wins a few hearts.
The one sound like it could put up a fight. The wepons sound mean, i would personally have the anti battleship missles on the wings ( can do more damage ) i like this!!

The Battle
The alliance fleet drew closer and closer to their target, each captain knew the stakes and that this battle could very well be their last. As the captain of the Cerberus looked out across the bridge and at his crew he knew that they wouldn’t fail him they’d been in dozens of battles together and this would not be the last…
The fleet was broken into 3 smaller battle groups for a three pronged attack on the system with each group targeting a specific planet in their numbers the wraith were unbeatable but if they were separated the alliance may have a chance…
The captains also knew that the Wraith also noticed the fleet build ups and had amassed a third of their fleet to meet them, an Asgard contingent was on it’s way but the fleet could not wait the wraith fleet assembled could decimate dozens of systems they had to strike before the fleet could move out…
Battle for the outer colonies – Kratus II…
The fleets dropped out of hyperspace above their designated targets but were immediately hit with a hail of gun fire from the orbital defenses several ships succumbed instantly to the fire and were destroyed…
The Phoenix battle fleet targeted Kratus II and opened fire on the orbital defense stations but the fire was easily repelled but their nigh impenetrable shields, the captain of the Leviathon noticed that the orbital defenses were tied into the Superstation and ordered all ships to target the station but with the wraith defense fleet baring down on them getting close enough to the station was more than difficult…
The only chance they had was launch all fighters and bombers and hope that the pilots skills would be enough to break through the Wraith lines, the fighters flew towards the Superstation but thousands of darts swarmed fourth from the Superstation and the planets surface ripping the alliance fighter squadrons to shreds. The captain of the Leviathon knew that the odds were against them and in daring move signaled part of the fleet to move in flanked by the Oneills and several destroyers the Leviathon pounded into the wraith lines and cut a sway through their fleet. The orbital canons switched their focus to the larger tauri ships, half the attacking fleet was annihilated almost instantly but the remaining fleet managed to enter range and blast a hole in the incoming dart screen giving the brave pilots of the alliance time to break through and fire their payload…
All at once 100’s of the most powerful tauri nukes were launched most of them heading towards the planet, the planetary defense canons fired in burst mode spraying the area with energy bolts destroying most of the incoming nukes but not enough, several multi-gigaton nukes struck the planet wiping out millions of wraith destroying much of the wraith infastructure…
Nearly a dozen nukes struck the Superstation causing catastrophic damage but the station was built to be resilient and survived the attack with many systems operational the orbital canons remained operational and the Superstation’s weapons hammed the incoming Alliance fleet. The Leviathon and 2 Oneills were the only ships now within range of the Superstation the rest of the fleet was fighting a losing battle against the orbital canons, all seemed lost until one of the Oneills discovered a weakness in the armor above the station stabilizers which were keeping the station in orbit the Leviathon reacted immediately opening fire on the weak spot the Oneills were soon to follow the Superstation continued to fire and one of the Oneills succumbed to the barrage but it was too late the stabilizers exploded from the pressure causing the station to lose power and come hurtling towards the planet, the remaining defense canons concentrated their fire in vain trying to stop the Stations descent but the station was too resilient and it hit the planet. The exploding generators destroyed the remaining infrastructure and without the Superstation supplying power the orbital canons powered down…
The remaining wraith defense fell back to Kratus I and the phoenix battle fleet began preparation for the final assault…

Battle for the outer colonies – Kratus IV-III…
The Cerberus dropped out of hyperspace leading the Hades battle fleet and immediately began evasive maneuvers to dodge the hail of gunfire, together with 3 gunship wings and the Oneills they moved to intercept the wraith fleet defending Kratus IV and III, the enemy fleet was small only 20 hives and 31 predators but it had the orbital defenses for fire support and the alliance was talking heavy casualties…
The smaller alliance ships ran circles around the wraith fleet but were unable to damage the orbital defenses. The power was being transferred from the mining station which was lightly defended, the captain of the Cerberus ordered the bulk of the fleet forward. Under the immense firepower of the Hades battle fleet the wraith forces were forced to retreat back to the main planet. The fleet stormed through the orbital defenses and blew the mining station to hell though several alliance ships were destroyed and crippled during the battle. The orbital defenses were quickly dispatched without their shields and the Hades battle fleet prepared to lay waste to Kratus IV but wraith reinforcements had already arrived and taken positions in orbital, with an iron determination the Cerberus’s captain ordered the final push…
The wraith reinforcements had arrived putting a wall of 50 hives between the Hades fleet and their goal. The fleet commanders knew that a head on confrontation with those hives and the orbital defense would result in heavy casualties, there was also another problem the orbital defenses were tied into a grid with all three of the ship yards and the mining station meaning disabling them would be near impossible…
Together the fleet commanders decided on a plan, it would rely on the legendary air wings of the Hades battle fleet. While the main fleet distracted the wraith forces the fighters would attack the wraith shipyards and fighters head on while half the bombers concentrated their fire on a mining station, when the station is destroyed the remaining bombers will detonate their payloads in between the orbital canons wiping them all out in 3 seconds it takes for the power link to establish with another shipyard…
The fleet moved out its target the wraith fleet. The wraith held their position and opened fire on the Hades battle fleet which took heavy damage. As the fleet entered range the captains gave the order to fire and launched a counter attack with tore into the wraith lines. The fleet continued to push forward despite taking horrendous damage from both the wraith fleet and the orbital canons, with a mighty crash the Hades fleet collided with the wraith Armanda the smaller tauri vessels out maneuvering the hives and their escorts. The wraith fleet took the bait and moved out of position to confront the tauri fleet head on, this is what the alliance had been waiting for the captain of the Cerberus gave the order…”launch the dagger” and the doors of hell opened and the fighters of the Hades battle fleet began the attack. The fighters and bombers flew into the heart of the battle dodging the fire they raced towards the target, but they had been detected and 9000 darts moved to intercept. The fighter group broke up into smaller squadrons with half the fighter wing engaging the stations and the other half providing cover fire for the bombers…
The battle against the wraith fleet was fierce although they had distracted the fleet long enough for the fighters to get through they were still within arms reach of the orbital canons and taking a beating victory hinged on the fighters…
The fighters fought an intense battle against the darts but the bombers were nearly in range, the bombers were ready for the final push but 3000 darts stood in their way and with only 200 fighters available for support it looked as though it was over. The fighters prepared for a suicidal attack when out of nowhere the Cerberus appeared and fired a volley from its energy canon decimating the dart squadrons allowing the alliance fighters to gain the upper hand and blast their way through. With the path clear the bombers fired their payloads annihilating the mining station, the rest of fighters needed no invitation and fired their nukes before evacuating the area. The nukes detonated simultaneously wiping out all the defense canons though many fighters were also lost in the blast…
The rest of the fleet pressed their advantage and drove the wraith back destroying their shipyards…
They didn’t have time to celebrate however as the Titan, Hercules and Scimitar forces had been devastated by the wraith and were in great need of assistance…

Battle for the inner systems- Asteroid Field
The Phoenix and Hades fleets reached the asteroid field too late the only contacts were wreckage mainly from alliance ships the wraith had decimated the Titan, Hercules and Scimitar battle fleets, but all was not lost the fleet detected small isolated pockets of fighting the fleet captains ordered the fleet to break up and offer support to the remnants of the fleets but the bulk of the wraith armada was already on it’s way…
“Mayday mayday, calling all alliance ships we’re in desperate need of assistance…shields failing…hull breaches on 7 decks….we……(signal cuts out)” from the Pegasus command ship of the joint Scimitar, titan and Hercules fleets…
“Move to intercept!” captain of the Cerberus…
“…What happened?” Pegasus captain.
“That last shot took out our communications.” Helmsmen.
“Damn it! Divert all emergency power and life support to shields and engines, take us up those Predatorss A-holes full thrust!”
The ship rocked as it set a direct course for 2 Predators baring down on it’s position. The ship buckled under the strain as it took fire from the 2 Predators.
“…shields down to 4%! The next couple of shots will finish us!” Helmsmen.
“Maintain course, Ramming speed prepare to activate the self destruct!” ordered the captain.
The Predators prepared to fire when out of no where 8 missiles flew over the Pegasus and slammed into one of the Wraith ships causing massive damage, the Cerberus had arrived and positioned itself between the Wraith and the Pegasus. A volley from the Cerberus energy canons and missile batteries destroyed the first Predator while half a dozen alliance ships finished off the second. Similar skirmishes took place across the asteroid belt but with the overwhelming numbers of alliance ships the wraith forces retreated to regroup with the remaining fleet.
Several smaller alliance ships escaped the massacre by hiding in the asteroid field the minerals in the asteroids themselves hid them from wraith sensors but most of the carriers and battle cruisers had been destroyed in the battle and the majority of the fleet had sustained damage…
And with the bulk of the wraith fleet approaching due to arrive in less then 30min (consisting of well over 100 hives) things looked grim indeed, the fleet made what little repairs they could and prepared for the endgame…

Wraith
156 hives
187 predators
230 cruisers
154,000 darts and wraith bombers
The Wraith forces were coming. Over one hundred and fifty hives were set to arrive within 5 minutes and without the Asgard the alliance looked doomed without reinforcements they had no chance to stand against such a fleet. But if the alliance could hold their ground for just 30 minutes the Asgard would arrive and we would have the boost we needed to counter attack and take the system though even with the Asgard it would be an uphill struggle.
To combat the wraith armada the main fleet was split into 3 smaller groups one on each flank and one holding the centre, moments before the battle the commander of the Leviathon gave a speak to the fleet,
“For 10,000 years the Pegasus galaxy has lived in fear, millions killed with no one to avenge them but no more! The wraith have stood too long today we bring them to their knee’s or die trying!”
A cheer resounded throughout the alliance fleet, then it began…
The wraith opened fire on the fleet destroying several ships in the first volley (many of the ships were still critically damaged from the earlier battles) from the word go the alliance was on the defensive and the wraith were closing in…
The wraith were using their classic strategy, close to point blank range and fire. At close range with the support from all their guns the wraith were nearly unbeatable but the alliance had one advantage maneuverability…
The smaller more agile alliance ships were able to run circles around the larger wraith vessels but nearly all ordnance was being intercepted we couldn’t hit them…
Around and inbetween the main battle the largest fighter battle in the history of the galaxy was taking place thousands of fighters collided in a desperate struggle but the alliance fighters were outnumbered 100 – 1 and even the dagger of the alliance the legendary fighter wing of the Hades battle fleet was being completely out matched…
The wraith bombers were tearing the carrier groups to shreds their disintegration bombs vaporizing chunks of the unshielded hulls, alkesh struggled to keep up with the clearly superior wraith vessels…
The battle was not going well the centre and left flank were holding but the right flank were being grinded into the ground attempting to render assistance the Leviathon moved to support the right flank but it was caught off guard in the rear by two wraith cruisers. The cruisers focused their fire on one of the dorsal hyperdrive fins, the Leviathon returned fire but it’s aft weapons were insufficient to stop them and it couldn’t shake them and if that wasn’t enough a wraith hive ship was moving to intercept the Leviathon, it opened fire with all it’s broadside canons…
The Leviathon pulled up out maneuvering the cruisers which were pummeled by hive fire the Leviathon resurfaced behind the cruisers and blasted them to kingdom come with it’s forward array sending the cruiser wreckage directly into the hive ship causing massive damage, two Oneills swooped in to finish off the hive…
The few Asgard ships we had were split, two working in concert to render assistance across the battle field and the other three spread out across the three battle groups. The two Oneills were wreaking havoc but the wraith would let none stand before them and twelve hives were dispatched to dispose of the Asgard the Asgard fought bravely but they were quickly overcome…
The Cerberus shields were down to 60% and several decks had been breached by internal explosions caused by the severe strain of the wraith bombardment. The Hades carrier groups were in trouble, three hive ships were pounding several Aegis carriers the Cerberus was forced to act without back up if the carriers were destroyed there would be no where for the brave pilots to return to. Together with a deadalus class the Cerberus swooped in guns blazing firing over three dozen energy shots onto the roof of one of the hive ships before going side on with the hive ship. The Cerberus exchanged fire with the hive for several seconds before firing a nuke spam straight in it’s face blowing it to hell, then together with the deadalus class it fought the wraith hives back away from the carriers…
Despite the heroics of the alliance fleet there was no escaping the fact that they were completely outmatched ships were beginning to drop like flies, the lines of the right flank were nearly broken in one desperate final attack the Leviathon called half forces of the right flank together and attacked the wraith concentrations at first the wraith were caught off guard by the suddenness and aggressive nature of the attack and several hives were destroyed but they quickly regained control. All around them the Leviathon’s support were being destroyed and it’s own shield were dropping fast it looked over but then out of no where the Asgard arrived!!!
The Asgard dropped out of hyperspace directly over head the wraith forces on the right flank and they came in guns firing the wraith forces in that battle group were torn to shreds, though several Asgard vessels were lost the right flank was quickly overcome and the alliance forces flanked the wraith battle groups the wraith were on the defensive…
The wraith desperately tried to stop the advance of the alliance but they were being out maneuvered at every turn and their firepower advantage had been severely dimished, the wraith were being forced back but the alliance had to fight for every inch and massive casualties were being inflicted on the alliance fleet but when Valhalla arrived the wraith knew it was over with Valhalla in the fight not even the defenses at Kratus would be able to stop the alliance from conquering the system….
But uncharacteristically instead of retreating the wraith fought to the last man, falling back to planets atmosphere the wraith made their stand, though dozens more ships were lost in taking the planet the alliance was victorious…

- None all wraith ships either fought to their destruction or kamikazed the alliance…
Aftermath
This battle marked a turning point the war with the wraith, after losing the Kratus system the wraith were forced to withdraw to their own space and abandon over a dozen star systems a crippling blow though within a year they had nearly completely recovered fleet wise…
The alliance had won a great victory but a costly one, one which would long be remembered as the most costly battle in the history of the alliance (save the final battle against the Reapers which cost hundred of ships)…
The alliance had the boost they need and the proof that the war had only just begun…

‘The Fall of Sateda’
Prologue:
The year is 2028 and the war is raging, the tauri Asgard alliance needed a new base of operations in the northern quadrant of the galaxy, Sateda was chosen for this role due to the already present infrastructure. The planet is to spear head the war in this area of the galaxy...
The tauri thought their fleet movements and operations had gone undetected but they were wrong unbeknownst to them the wraith were coming...
These are roughly the fleets involved....
Tauri/Asgard
4 daudeless class
3 Tegalus gun ships
6 Arnold cruisers
2 Serpant battle cruisers
2 aegis carriers
4 unity destroyers
200 f302a
12 heavy anti ship planetary coil guns
44 anti fighter rail gun emplacements
4 twin vertical launch nuke missile launchers
Wraith
1 hive flagship
2 hives
5 predators’
73 cruisers
2430 darts
700 bombers
The battle:
It was the early morning and everything was still, few were awake when it happened…
Suddenly alarms bells rang as a blue light burned across the sky and struck the C.P.D.N (central power distribution network) centre the city fell dark as the all too familiar buzz of the darts could be heard the wraith had come…
Tauri ground forces began filling the street ready to defend Sateda, wraith ground forces began to land dropped by darts across the city the tauri were surrounded. All looked lost until the back up power generators activated the sky erupted with gun fires destroying scores of enemy fighters and bombers, then the sky darkened as 2 huge ships blocked out the sun, Predators. The ground defenses concentrated their fire causing one of the ships devastating damage the ships hull collapsed in on itself after nuke hit and imploded, but before the tauri could react the second ship fired a large pulse at the city the guns fell silent only the central command remained. The Predator swept a culling beam along the ground transporting thousands of wraith to the surface before rising above the command centre and leveling it with an energy pulse.
In space the battle was going just as badly somehow the wraith had masked their approach and had taken them by surprise, surprised by the attack they were unable to render ground support while they were being swamped by wraith forces, the sheer number of cruisers meant victory was impossible, the tauri fleet was engaging 60 cruisers and taking heavy casualties the other cruisers were dropping ground forces, fortifying the planet and defending the flagship hive…
The cruisers were lightly shielded but their weapons were formidable and were causing large amounts of damage each tauri ship had to contend with many times it’s number of wraith ships, the aegis class carriers lost their shields and were ravaged by bombers who literally disintegrated the entire ships before causing a chain reaction destroying both vessels and huge numbers of darts and bombers…
The suddenness of the attack meant reinforcements would not be coming and wraith construction vessels were dropping out of hyperspace, the tauri were defeated but the commanders fought to the last man knowing that losing Sateda would devastate their efforts in this quadrant. The captain of the ‘Dauntless’ one of the Serpant battle cruisers attempting to nuke the planet but the missiles were intercepted by the now enemy controlled planetary defense weapons. In the end the Tauri fleets was simply overrun and swamped by the wraith although most vessels were only disabled many captains ordered their self destruct to avoid their ships falling into enemy hands…
Aftermath:
This attack left the tauri reeling, the survivors from both the ships and the city were interrogated for weeks before being rounded up for a public execution broadcasted to the entire Pegasus galaxy to instill fear and let the humans of the galaxy know of their power, following this many of the primitive worlds suffered from mass panic…
The attack was led by one of the most feared generals of the wraith, how he and the wraith learned of Sateda’s military importance was a mystery soon to be discovered.
Despite 2 attempts Sateda was never retaken and served as a stronghold for the wraith until the very end of the war when it was abandoned, the tauri forces in the northern quadrant were forced to retreat on all fronts 6 months after losing Sateda…

Battle report -An unstoppable foe?
November 26th 2033
Prologue:
General Sheppards personal log - November 12th 2033
For the last 2 months the wraith advance has halted and the bulk of the fleet has disappeared. The asgard and tauri high council are pushing me to take advantage of this lapse in Wraith forces and go on the offensive but i have a bad feeling about this, over a hundred hiveships don't just disappear, coincidently Reaper raids in our space have stopped...
General Sheppards personal log - November 17th 2033
Our new offensive is under way we've moved through several systems and met no resistance its is strange that we haven't come accross any wraith at all, it's like them and their technology have been stripped from the planets surfaces...
General Sheppards personal log - November 21th 2033
We've seen the first signs of what happened, wreckage dozens of hiveships derelic with unusal damage patterns and something else...Reapers
General Sheppards personal log - November 23th 2033
We've been hopping from system to system for little over a week and we've found the new wraith border several thousand light years back, from what we can gather the wraith have for the last 2 months been struggling to halt an all out offensive from the Reapers this doesn't bode well for any of us the Reapers are multiplying and spreading quickly and if the wraith can't find a way to stop them then...then it could be the end for all of us, our advance has halted until further orders...
The tauri fleet holds it’s position deep in the Pegasus galaxy about 7 light years from the wraith border in what was once an industrial capital of the Wraith empire…
Suddenly over 200 ships appeared on scanners! General Sheppard orders all ships to red alert they were finally getting some attention…
Over 200 wraith ships dropped out of hyperspace in front of the tauri fleet led by the Superhive.
The High queen hailed the fleet and ordered the general to retreat back to tauri controlled space but before Sheppard could answer the wraith fleet re-entered hyperspace…where were they going in such a hurry…
A little over an hour later the Wraith fleet vanished on the edge of the ‘Yisung nebula’ on the outskirts of the dark space…
The Battle:
Wraith Fleet:
1 Superhive
50 hives
67 Predators
123 cruisers
Reapers:
30 Reaper hives
48 V-type battleships
113 Destroyers
12 captured hiveships
The wraith fleet emerged from hyperspace at a once prosperous wraith outpost home to millions of wraith, there was nothing left…
Until a few weeks ago this had been the headquarters for their war against the Reapers, the High queen looked upon the scarred and burnt planet seething with rage but on the bridge of the Superhive she was over confident, but the wraith had never faced such a violent and hostile enemy…
The fleet prepared to enter the nebula to take the fight to the Reapers but they had under estimated their foe it was an ambush…
The first wave of 20 cruisers flew into the nebula and disappeared into the cloud, the high Queen looked on waiting for the signal to begin the advance but the signals from the cruisers suddenly vanished…
The High Queen snarled with rage and ordered the advance despite the destruction of her first wave. The fleet edged towards the nebula it was 10km from the cloud when over a hundred dark shapes emerged from the cloud dwarfing all but the Superhive, the high queen looked on in horror as another hundred ships appeared from behind the planet and moons they were trapped…
The fleets opened fire, the Reaper beams caused tremendous damage on the hiveships. The Superhive opened fire causing significant damage on the Reaper fleet but the rest of the fleet was being torn apart by the Reapers…
The High Queen ordered the advance regardless of casualties, but 6 Reaper hives approached from the right flank the Superhive opened fire and destroyed one with a sustained barrage, the 5 remaining Reaper Hives returned fire with their Reaper beams smashing through the Superhive’s shields causing significant hull damage and disabling 2 thirds of the ships systems. With over half the Wraith fleet destroyed and the rest occupied the Superhive was defenseless its remaining weapon ports did what they could but with no engines the hive was a sitting duck…
The rest of the fleet struggled against the Reapers who completely outmatched them, most of the fleet was already destroyed and nearly all remaining ships had been partially disabled, Reaper boarding parties began beaming aboard and the in space the ships began stripping the hulls of the Wraith vessels bare…
The High Queen howled with rage as the remaining fleet attempted to flee, the Superhive was the only ship still fighting but it had taken serious damage. Above the Superhive 6 Destroyers few in for a strafing run and focused their Reapers beams across the bow of the ship tearing a 4 kilometer fissure in the Superhive structure. The rest of the Wraith fleet had been destroyed or disabled and the Reaper fleet prepared to disband, 3 V-type battleships flew over the Superhive on a bombing run, the ship was now completely disabled…
The High Queen looked on as a Reaper hive flew into position directly above the Superhive and opened fire, firing hundreds of blasts in a concentrated pattern upon the Superhive before moving to join the rest of the fleet and entering hyperspace as the Superhive exploded in the background and suddenly…all was silent…
Aftermath:
This defeat and the loss of the wraith queen crippled the wraith and forced them to enter negotiations with the tauri who then entered the war against the Reapers, this gave both wraith and tauri time to find an effective means of fighting them and subsequently spelled the defeat of the Reapers and a brief truce between the wraith and tauri…

Battle - 'Wraith Dreadnaught'
Prologue:
The year is 2027 the war with the wraith has been raging for nearly 3 years with no signs of letting up for these years only the iron determination and the strength of the Asgard have held the lines against the seemingly endless waves of wraith ships but the wraith have resolved to change this. The borderlines have been changing constantly but the allied forces have held strong, the Wraith however had begun construction on a ship powerful enough to break down these walls and bring Atlantis to its knees...
The lines have been drawn, the forces mustered the allied fleet flies towards the wraith construction yards for the greatest battle of the war...
Ships involved:
Friendly -
1 Oneill leading the fleet (Fryers personal ship)
3 Aegis carriers
8 Daudeless class
2 DSBC-312 Prestige Class Battlecarrier
10 BC-305 Serpant Class
14 CIX-308 Henry H. Arnold Class cruisers
6 DSG-312 Tegalus-class Gunship
130 F-302A
170 F/B-307
Enemy-
10 upgraded hives
13 predator class
19 cruisors
8000 darts
1 wraith super hive tauri designation ‘Dreadnaught’
The battle:
The Allied forces has recently learned of a new wraith ship currently under construction at the edge of the galaxy this ships is far more powerful then any ship in the known galaxy and was built with the desire to bring and end to the war with a wraith victory, it had to be destroyed…
The Fleet commanded by Freyer dropped out of hyperspace to find a huge wraith fleet amassed before it, he sounded the attack. The carriers and battle carriers launched their fighters at the incoming swarm of darts the gunships took up positions around the carriers.
The bulk of the wraith fleet prepared to engage while 2 hives, 4 cruisers and 3 predators stayed to defend the not yet fully operational Superhive. The battle began the Allied forced fired a barrage of missiles in the incoming fleet likewise the wraith fired volley after volley into the Tauri fleet, 2 hives were disabled and 4 cruisers and 2 predators were destroyed but the wraith had learned from their previous engagements they focused their fire, 2 daudeless class ships were destroyed as were an Arnold class cruiser and Serpant battlecruiser.
The battle continued but it was clear that the tauri had a slight advantage they out numbered them and they also had the advantage of the Oneill class which was causing huge damage to the wraith fleet, but this was the reason the Superhive was commissioned. The Asgard ship detected a power build up coming from the planet the ship was operational…
Freyer signaled the fleet and with 4 Arnold class cruisers, 2 Daudeless class and 2 Serpant battlecruisers the Tauri cut a swath through the wraith towards the planet but instead of moving to intercept the wraith took advantage of the gap in the lines and made a move against the carriers.
At this point in the battle the fleets stand like this;
Friendly -
1 Oneill leading the fleet (Fryers personal ship)
2 Aegis carriers
5 Daudeless class
2 DSBC-312 Prestige Class Battlecarrier
7 BC-305 Serpant Class
9 CIX-308 Henry H. Arnold Class cruisers
4 DSG-312 Tegalus-class Gunship
‘Unknown’ F-302A
‘Unknown’ F/B-307
Enemy-
7 upgraded hives
8 predator class
10 cruisers
‘Unknown’ darts
1 wraith super hive tauri designation ‘Dreadnaught’
The fighters were engaged in a tremendous dog fight 1 on 1 the Tauri fighters could handle the darts but they were incredibly outnumbered, a great many fighters were recalled to defend the carriers and more still to clear the path for the nukes set to destroy the Superhive the fighting broke off as the darts sped towards the opposing fleet. These darts were equipped with disintegration culling beams and were using them to vaporize parts of the ships mainly command centers.
Meanwhile in the planets atmosphere clouds of darts moved into the void between Freyers task force and the Superhive the other wraith vessels also moved into position, Freyer gave the command…
“Fire at will”, dozens of anti fighter missiles and nukes flew towards the wraith, hundreds of darts were destroyed and 3 cruisers took critical damage. Over half a dozen nukes got through, it looked as though the battle was over but when the missiles hit their target nothing happened they simply impacted against a shining turquoise shield the ship was operational the sub light engines powered up it began ascending through the atmosphere, then it opened fire, hundreds of energy blasts erupted into the sky raining devastation on the Tauri fleet which began evasive maneuvers…
A Daudeless class was destroyed almost instantly as were 2 Arnold cruisers all nukes had be expended and the rail guns were having little effect, the fleet left the Superhive to the Oneill and attacked the Superhive’s escorts.
It soon became clear the Oneill was no match for this vessel the Oneill was taking dozens of hits a second and it’s shields were dropping fast. Freyr ordered the fleet to regroup in the upper atmosphere. The Superhive and it’s remaining escort of 1 hive, 2 predators and 1 cruiser took up flanking positions, Fryer ordered one final pass which was to be his undoing on the way in the hive focused all 20 of it’s forward batteries on the Oneill the shields dropped and it took extensive hull damage Fryer ordered the ship to ram the wraith vessel but the wraith anticipated this and the last cruiser smashed into the Oneill destroying it though fryer beamed to safety...
The Tauri fleet began to retreat and all fighters were recalled but not before the Superhive destroyed another Daudeless and another Aegis carrier…
The Tauri fleet jumped to hyperspace as did the regrouped wraith fleet their destination Atlantis…
At the end of the battle the fleets looked like this:
Friendly -
1 Aegis carriers
2 Daudeless class
1 DSBC-312 Prestige Class Battlecarrier
2 BC-305 Serpant Class
3 CIX-308 Henry H. Arnold Class cruisers
30 F-302A
34 F/B-307
Enemy-
3 upgraded hives
2 predator class
2 cruisers
3563 darts
1 wraith super hive tauri designation ‘Dreadnaught’
Aftermath:
The battle was devastating the Tauri and Asgard completely underestimated the wraith ‘Dreadnaught’ and suffered tremendous casualties...
The wraith fleet quickly merged with another on its course for Atlantis and for the first time in nearly a decade the wraith were in a real position to take Atlantis…
The Wraith fleet that was amassed included:
1 Wraith ‘Dreadnaught’
28 Hives
36 Predators
43 Cruisers
15,000 darts
The Atlantis defenses were not enough to hold against such a fleet and valuable assets had to be pulled from the front lines forcing the entire Tauri fleet to fall back and surrender several key systems the next year would be spent regaining lost ground…

Battle – Atlantis Siege V ‘ Caldwell’s Wrath’
Prologue:
After the disastrous defeat at the hands of the wraith at the construction facility the tauri were forced onto the defensive, the Allied forced were forced to surrender several systems to the wraith to allow them to mount a defense at Atlantis, if Atlantis fell the allied forces may never recover and the fate of the Pegasus galaxy would be sealed but the wraith fleet was large and the stage for one of the most desperate struggles of the war was set…

28 Hives
36 Predators
43 Cruisers
15,000 darts
The battle:
The Tauri stationed their fleet at the edge of the inner solar system they planned to make the wraith fight for every inch. Commander Fryer led the fleet with General Caldwell leading the Tauri contingent from the Daudeless…
The wraith fleet dropped out of hyperspace firing their first volley caused extensive damage to the fleet but allied forces retaliated with missile barrages destroying 2 wraith cruisers for a moment the Alliance looked to be holding its ground then the Dreadnaught emerged from hyperspace flanked by 4 predator class and 2 hives it cut deep into the Tauri and Asgard lines within minutes the Tauri were falling back…
Darts descended on the outer outposts and the dart screens intercepted all incoming missiles with their disintegration beams, F-302As and F/B-307 were launched but they were so outnumbered the battle was very one sided even the use of nukes wasn’t enough to hold back the torrent of darts…
The battle was not going well for the Tauri several hives and other wraith vessels had been destroyed but the Dreadnaught seemed all but unstoppable it’s weapons were cutting through the Allies, in an attempt to do some damage 4 Tegalus class gun ships made a pass at the Dreadnaught but they all destroyed in seconds it became clear that to bring down the Dreadnaught the fleet would need to coordinate their attack to take it down…
The fleet was forced back to Atlantis’s doorstep the regrouped fleet under the command of Fryer order all ships to fire on the Dreadnaught over 200 missiles were launched several programmed to detonate ahead of the dart screen clearing the path for the rest of the payload hives and cruisers attempted to intercept but over 100 nukes hit their target then a volley from the Oneills finished the job bringing down the shields…
But in doing this attack the fleet was left open for a devastating counter attack from the wraith 2 Oneills were destroyed as were two Serpant battle cruisers, both fleets were devastated but the Allies underestimated the Dreadnaughts resilience multiple nuke hits were unable to grind it’s advance to a halt and the fleet retreated to Atlantis’s orbit…
The Dreadnaught had taken massive external damage but the nature of it’s design allowed it to withstand the vast amount of fire it was taking the Tauri fleet couldn’t penetrate it’s armour and it was feared that even Atlantis’s drones would be unable to stop it, all that remained of the wraith fleet were 9 hives, 13 predators and 8 cruisers but the tauri fleet was unable with it’s limited resources to mount an effective defense another volley from the Superhive destroyed the remaining Aegis carrier, the ship entered orbit and fire it’s shield dampening weapon at Atlantis as well as it’s entire forward weapons array. Hundreds of drones were launched but they were ineffective against the sheer amount of armour on the Superhive although extensive damage was caused many drones were intercepted by darts…
It was then that fryer noticed a weakness in the armour a large fissure had appeared in one of the sections but with darts swarming everywhere it would be impossible to hit it with a nuke and the fleet had already expended most of it’s heavy weapons the battle was getting desperate reinforcements were too far away, by the time they reached the system Atlantis would have already been destroyed or worse captured, another volley struck one of the flanking Oneills destroying it and Fryer’s Oneill had been disabled, several missiles were fired none got even close the only ship with any nukes was the deadalus in one final desperate maneuver Caldwell took command he ordered two Arnold cruisers to flank him as he made a run for the Superhive…
Caldwell ordered the gatebuster nuke to be armed and ordered full speed the entire wraith fleet opened fire had it not been for the flanking Arnold cruisers the Daudeless would have been lost. Several hits disabled the weapons on the Daudeless but Caldwell stayed on course, the ship continued to rock under the intense fire. Caldwell made one final speech to the fleet before ordered all remaining power to the engines. The Deadalus slammed into the Superhive at full speed before detonating the nuke a split second later the enormous explosion sent shock waves through the ship parts of the ship blew apart and the remaining fleet focused on the exposed section. Nukes and rail gun rounds tore into the exposed section of the vessel before a final drone volley from atlantis finished the job breaking the ship in half through secondary explosion destroying the ship in atlantis’s orbit…
The remaining wraith fleet fled into hyperspace with ni chance of taking atlantis before Tau’ri forces arrived…

2 Daudeless class
2 BC-305 Serpant Class
3 CIX-308 Henry H. Arnold Class cruisers
Enemy-
5 upgraded hives
4 predator class
Aftermath:
This battle was devastating for both sides only the sacrifice of the Daudeless made by Caldwell averted disaster, this near victory for the wraith spread panic across the galaxy but also strengthened the alliances resolve…
This next year the wraith pressed their advantage and it was an uphill struggle for the alliance who spent the next year regaining lost systems…

it is a good design indeed, but i think it should be simpler, somthing dont have too much curves and edges. future fighters should look very simple but deadly

Im planning to make this fleet Realistic, but i need to make the choice between a fleet set within the next decade or in say 50 years. Now the 50 years option would increase the likelyhood of Fanwank ships getting in the mix. However the best moddled ships, such as Pyrus's are also within that category.
Im going to set the fleet battling the wraith in Pegasus, simply because we know more abotu wraith ships and weapons and tactics than the ori.
10 to 50 years is a long time, the Ori will come for us within 5 as we saw in another dimension where the Ori already tried to destroy us. i would say we secretly build the ships around the mid-way station where hostile forces knows little about. we can ship in supplys with the daedalus and get small supplies in through the gate. with carefully selected allies we can finish an Odin class ship in 3-5 years. but again a lot can happen in these times.

In the GWVF the Ori are gone and dead already

i was thinking instead of an ubership that we would have some kind of space station or perhaps even atlantis as the backdrop for a fleet. This station would be able to service all the craft and the fleet defend it.
I have selected a few designs for the roels above. For example, JRPR's Serpant class would be my main choice for the gunship role.
FM, i was hoping you could help out with just choosing and helping me pick out which ships would be good in the fleet. Your good at evaluating the ships and have been in the ship design threads as long as i can remember and i trust your judgement.
heres an idea. y doesnt sumone just design a battle fleet. it would consist of 12 daedulas class battlecruisers & an orbital battle/defense station.
the station would hav enough weapons & shields to put up a fight of its own. it6 would also be able to repair any ships that were damaged in a battle & the daedulas class fleet would defend it at all costs.

Design Specifications
Sheild - Ancient sheilding founded out of the database in Atlantis for use in the earth battleship "Odin", the shield itself is designed on the city sheild of atlantis and takes a neutron ion particle drive power source to run or a ZPM.
Power Source - On asgard design with tok'ra aid, the power source has a self charging unit within itself able to recharge the ion particles again when depleted. The asgard and tok'ra installed this module along with the tweaking of earth scientists using little ancient power source knoledge known. The total power output is 1/4 the capacity of a ZPM module.
Sublight Engines - Asgard designed and installed sublight engines make the "Odin" extremly fast and agile when traveling, little is known behind this technology. this was a gift from the asgard for the fight against the Ori.
Hyperdrive Engines - Newly discovered from the Ancient database with daniel jacksons help, the designs were released to earth and constructed by asgard / human scientists making the "Odin"'s hyperdrive the most advanced since the Ancient citys.
Armour & Hull - The armour and hull is made up tritanium and other unknown metals and materials, it has been lined with asgard chemical resins to make the armour and hull resiliant to heat and radiation. the ship is able to fly through space without sheilds online with this new armour and hull tech making power exumpion extremely low.
Battlecruiser Bay - The "Odin" designed by asgard and tauri scientists included one of these bays to be able to carry 2 daedalus class battlecruisers within its hull.
Battleship Weapons Specifications
Tauri Main Railgun Battery - The "Odin" is equiped with 10 standard close batterys able to fire 10,000 rounds ammunition case, the ammuntion used since the daedalus and odyssy has been replaced with a new Ion round which makes the round able to pass through the sheilds of any gou'ld mothership vessel.
Tauri Rail Cannon Battery - The "Odin" is the first ship to incorporate the new earth created Rail cannon, the rail cannon is larger in size than the standard railguns and fires a 4200mm Ion Artillarty round, the downfall of these batterys is their rate of fire because of reloading and charging needs the batterys can only fire every 2mins, but the "Odin" has been equiped with 4 of these massive cannons to combat the war against the Ori.
Tauri Missle battery system - The "Odin" has been equiped with 22 of the daedalus class missle batterys armed with new phased photon missles able to impact at a greated velocity than previous made missles.
