How will the Asgard respond to the Asurians??

the asurians would probably be no threat to the asgard. Replicators do not seek technology that is inferior to their own. These replicators have Ancient technology, so they would probably have very little use of the asgard.

I wouldn't even call them replicators. As far as I know, they don't replicate, that was something reece programed replicators to do.

These guys are just robots who want to kill the Ancients for some reason.

I don't think the Asurans are in anyway weaker than the replicators especially with Ancient tech at their full disposal. So if the Asgard decided to fight 'em they might get their little grey butts kicked for the second time around.

We don't know exactly how much ancient tech is at their disposal, so until we know that, we cannot make a proper assessment.

Anyway, as said the Replicators and Asurans are completely different things. The Replicators goal was simply to replicate their numbers, survive and 'assimilate' advanced technology. The Asurans however were developed as a weapon and were programmed to be aggressive. Different from one another.

Also from spoilers we can determine that the Asurans have a cityship under their control and can make ZPMs so they are pretty advanced so far from what can be seen. Guess we will have to wait and see whether they can match the Asgard though if they have enough Lantean tech then they could be quite powerful.

The Asurans are the precursors to the Replicators, they were a nanite created weapon designed to kill the Wraith. But the problem is they evolved and emulated their creators. The Lanteans were worried by this and tried to exterminate them but the Asurans survived. There civilisation has Lantean Cityships at their control and can create ZPMs. They are also split into two groups; one the aggressive group which firmly believes in their 'programming' and the other a more peaceful group who want to further emulate the Lanteans and try to ascend.

If you have seen Atlantis season 1 episode Hotzone, they are an evolution of that nanovirus that was killing people.

The Asurans will kick Asgard @$$! 1 fully powered cityship could be enough to wipe them out. If they can make ZPM's then I would assume that they can make drones.
