If I had the money, I'd try to go for the scripts. I know it's for charity, but bidding on clothing is just not my cup of tea. I can't even order clothes on line.

Hopefully the bids will high, so the proceeds can help others.

          Item 16 - Andromeda shooting script - "Star-crossed", signed

A passenger ship is destroyed by terrorists, leaving a sole survivor - an android named Gabriel. Rommie, the artificial intelligence, is immediately attracted when he's brought on board, and she falls in love. It seems like fate they have met. But soon Gabriel's true identity is uncovered: he is not a friend and not a survivor, instead he is... the ultimate enemy.

A few years ago, Michael Shanks did a guest spot on the very popular sci-fi series, Andromeda.
As guest spots go, it was a great one... interesting ep, playing against his Stargate Dr Jackson type, and the chance to work with the future Mrs Shanks.

Of Michael's appearance on the show, Lexa has said: "He was very attractive. Not at all did he resemble his role as Daniel Jackson. I was surprised when he came into the dressing room and thought "wow!!" he doesn't look a bit like on TV." (ref: Lexa Doig online)

And when asked at a convention some years later which was his favorite scene ever to film, Michael responded: "Ooh, 7 years of scenes. It was actually on Andromeda where I met this gal Lexa Doig and I got to kiss her in the first scene. That was my favorite scene." (ref: Michael Shanks Online)

The auction item we have is a particularly rare and special one: it is the actual shooting script issued to (see Michael's name in top right corner!) Michael Shanks for his guest spot on the series Andromeda, for the episode "Star-crossed".

The script contains extensive markings and notes by Michael, and the cover has been signed by Michael and his then-co-star, now wife, Lexa Doig.

This is so cool. I want it all, LOL. They just posted on another forum that they're putting more things up right now.

Maybe I can try for the boonie. Wonder if the photo comes with it?

I am absolutely positive that I would never be able to afford any of these at whatever final bid price they achieve, but it's wonderful to see so many things donated for such a good cause! I am sure they will do well.

Michael Shanks' Stargate SG-1 Shooting Script, signed

Season 10 of Stargate SG-1 is about to start, so it's time for a refresher on where we left our intrepid team...
Members of the Tau'ri (that's us!), the Jaffa, the Asgard and the Tok'ra have gathered to do battle against the evil Ori and their Supergate. SG-1 split up to pursue various avenues of defence/attack... Daniel and Mitchell heading back to the library, Carter leaving on the Odyssey and Teal's going off on a Lucian Alliance recruiting mission.
On the planet, Cameron does battle with a Black Knight (and no, you Monty Python folk, it was not *that* Black Night!) and comes out the victor when Daniel figures out how to disconnect the Knight's battery pack.

Daniel then pieces clues together that hint the weapon they are looking for looks like a red stone pendant... but it isn't in the library. The pendant, they are told, was the actual object of Arthur's quest.
Alas, before they can pursue that line of thought the Russian ship the Korolev shows up and beams them away. (Don'tcha just hate when that happens?)

Meanwhile, at the Supergate, Carter and the Asgard Kvasir plan to reconfigure the Supergate's control crystals, dial the Ori galaxy, and attack the enemy through their own 'gate. But to do so means a big risk... a dangerous spacewalk which, when you're coming up to the last few minutes of a 44 minute episode, you just *know* is going to go awry!
And it does... the Supergate activates. As she watches from a lonely vantage point, the massive ships of the Ori pour through and unleash their devastating weapons.

                The holy war has begun.

Cue shouts of "arrrgh, we have to wait till next season??!"
This auction item is a particularly rare one... this is Michael Shanks' personal shooting script of the Season 9 final episode "Camelot".
As well as containing the full script of the episode, with copious notations by Michael, the script also has the actual shooting schedule for the episode - the who goes where, the when and what they're shooting.
And of course the script has been signed on the cover by Michael.

Michael Shanks' Junior Varsity Rugby Shoes, signed

                  Haven't we all done it?
Haven't we all found ourselves storing away one or two little items from our college days as mementos, memories... something a little hard to part with at the time, thinking that eventually we'll go back and have a clean out, when it will be a little easier to let things go?
Or we simply put something away into storage, always intending to go through our stuff later and sort the keepers from the not?
Then time passes... and passes even more... and you never get around to doing that clean out.
And then comes a day, long after you've left home, married, set up your own home, you get a call from your parents saying "hey, we're cleaning out the garage and found some of your stuff... do you want it back?"
So you arrive, find a box... and way down the bottom you find a pair of shoes and socks you wore when you were at college and played Junior Varsity Rugby.
(And from the look of the shoes, you played a *lot* of rugby!)
Yes, what we have is exactly that. This auction item dates back to Michael's college days... the actual shoes and a pair of the socks that Michael wore when he played rugby as a student at UBC. (Both the shoes and socks show the evidence of many a game being played... but the socks are clean!)
Both shoes have both been signed on the toe end of the shoe, on tape surrounding the shoe.

Stargate SG-1 10th Anniversary Golden Stargate Award

                    10 years.
                    10 long years.
10 long years that have actually passed in the blink of an eye as we've watched episode after episode, and still craved for more.
We've lived through the highs and the lows, witnessed the challenges and victories, the losses and sorrows, the celebrations of our intrepid SG-1 team Jack, Daniel, Sam and Teal'c.
We've read all the magazines, the interviews, watched the specials and been to the conventions to catch a glimpse and more, and to applaud and thank, as the cast and crew we admire so much gave just that little bit more to us.
Through 10 years they've worked to give us one of the best science fiction series on television ever, and we've been with them every step of the way.
So where the heck is our 10th Anniversary Golden Stargate Award?
                    HUH????! Where is it??!

                    Actually, it's right here.
Soon to be issued as a special edition for SG-1 fans, Legends Memorabilia, the company behind Stargate Props and Stargate Autographs, have given MSOL one of the very same 10th Anniversary Golden Stargate Awards they presented to Michael Shanks, Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Teryl Rothery, Brad Wright and Robert Cooper.
The award is 14" x 14", and the plaque in the center (surrounded by the Golden Stargate) has the following text:
                    STARGATE SG-1
Special Edition Golden Stargate award presented to the
cast members of Stargate SG-1 in commemoration
of the 10th anniversary of the series.

Our grateful thanks to Paul Brown and Legends Memorabilia/Stargate Props for the contribution and ongoing support of MSOL.

                      URGENT! Auction News

The best laid plans of mice and men.
Long story short: A couple of months ago, as we planned this second MSOL auction, we contacted eBay Customer Support to verify how, exactly, we could run an auction on eBay for a group that were not listed in eBay's charity Mission Fish register.
Detailing exactly who we were representing, and providing eBay with the full text of the permission letter we received from the MS Society of Canada, we obtained verification from eBay that we could proceed with the auction as we have done this week.
For reasons we are still trying to determine through eBay Customer Support (who can only be contacted via email), a vast majority of our auctions listings have been taken down.
We are working hard and fast to resolve this situation and clarify what the problem is. In the meantime we would beg your patience and understanding, and continued support once we're back up and running

Auction update - back to the drawing board

We're guessing whoever said patience is a virtue weren't waiting on Customer Support to get back to them. :-)

So we've put our heads together and decided to start again.
For those items that disappeared into the ether, we've modified our listing somewhat to take out anything that might have potentially offended TPTB at eBay (despite our pre-auction checks!) and are now re-loading them.
So, please keep checking back frequently - the items are being completed in the order they were originally loaded... bears, scripts, 100th episode photo frames et al.

Don't forget, while we're re-loading the items, there are some auction items still listed which are closing within the next 15 hours - including Michael's personal shooting script for the Andromeda episode "Star-crossed", a few photos and the Ultimate Edition of the original Stargate movie in a collector tin, signed by Michael.
To all who wrote and offered their concern and support - thank you.
