I am opening this thread exclusively for those who see, love and ship for John and Teyla. The purpose of this thread is to post pictures/artwork/Con pics/etc....supporting the ship between John and Teyla.

There are tons of gorgeous wallpapers, sigs, avatars, icons and banners of this duo and here is the place to display them.

So, let's have FUN and let's display all the FANTASTIC pics and created works of John and Teyla..just remember the guidelines for pics posted by GW. If your picture is larger than the expected guidelines, just put it under spoiler tags. Thanks!

Okay, so one of the reasons why this thread was opened is because over in the John/Teyla thread we are going over episode by episode of all the shippy moments between J/T starting from Rising..so, here's one of my wallpapers/artwork from that episode...This was actually done as a result of one of Bella's Awesome Pic Challenges....You guys are going to LOVE all of the fantastic work that will be posted here!

This thread was created on the Advice of the Moderators to allow for all aspect of *Fandom Celebration* some want to discuss in detail and in-depth the *ship* while others like to make picture montages and use captioning as a means to show their appreciation of their favorite *Ship*

The 2002 thing has to do with people using "fishyone" as a username. I maintain that I was the first to use it (it was my cat's nickname), and other people took it. :( fishyone2002 is mine and only mine. I've only made s/t stuff since I joined the thread, actually... The ones I've posted are the only ones I have... Right now... I will probably (okay, almost certainly) make more.

I'm not sure. The banner is only 58k... I made each one separately and animated them with microsoft gif animator.

I don't mind being a musketeer... I don't really think we needed a separate place for the pics, but I'm glad we have it now... I just wish that the people who hate it so much could just decide personally to avoid it and not complain/push their views on others. If they're that upset, they never have to come to this little place and could have voiced complaints privately.

See, that's what I mean... People just didn't see them... :( And I made them for others to enjoy, too.

I'm glad I'll be seeing a lot of reposts... I couldn't possibly read all the pages on the other thread or wade through the back log on LJs, so if this hadn't started, I might never have seen them.

That said, I like the wall, Camy. The oval encloses them together... It's a nice effect. :)

and I agree..I had no problem posting our stuff in the j/t thread....this was as a result of complaints and although there are other places where we can post our work like Convergence (which I hope everyone posts all their JT stuff) this is an alternative to help those who want to see pics and for those who don't!

Fishy, I just saw this..basically, VB wants a banner for the Convergence site with a pic of Atlantis and J/T in it...be as creative as you want..she wants some type of effect of layering I guess with the Atlantis pic and anything of J/T....does that help?

Wowzers. Glad you like my siggy - I'm so in love with it and immensely proud! You guys put me to shame with your awesome artworks.. I'm not too great at that kind of thing (partly because I have Adobe Photoshop Elements and I find it an absolute un-user-friendly bear of a programme and very difficult to work out how to do what you want to do) but the promo photos were SO darn hawt that I just had to have a go and I'm pretty pleased with the results. Plus I get to gaze at that lovely pic every time I post! :D :lol:

OH, thanks for the compliments...Yeah, I have PhotoShop as well..I"ve spent so much money on these programs it's not even funny!

I do love to take pictures of the kids and now my new puppy so it's not in vain...but Photoshop is a nightmare for me! I can't for the life of me figure it out! I need very user friendly stuff...

that's why it amazes me to see the FANTASTIC stuff that others make! I"m like, I don't even know how to browse in Photoshop! LOL!

AG, love both wallpapers! The colors in wp1 are wonderful. Makes me wish hubby'd let me have a wall that rotates to different pictures.



Challenge! I challenge you all to make a wall or banner that uses the actual moment when Teyla hits John in the butt with the stick. Bella, you used the moment after. I'd love to have one that uses the stick touching his butt, if there is a pic of that. I'm not sure there is. I think maybe they don't pan down quickly enough.

Bella, the "This is Not My Idea of a First Date" wallpaper (Post #4) is hilarious. I also love the series of wallpapers in Post #48. And, I see that the Winking-Teyla now seems to have a life of its own (Post #75)

fishyone, I love the 3 styles of text positioning you used and I also love the different colorations of your wallpapers (Post #5). Also, the "Tower, Fortress, Us" wallpaper is dramatic, yet simple and to the point (Post #27).

Challenge!

In the JT discussion thread we're on the ep Trinity. I know Teyla and John had few scenes together, but there were some really good shots of each in this ep. How about someone combine a few into a WP? Maybe a 'Teyla thinking of what John would think of her secret' wp? (The secret being that Ronon killed Kell and she decided not to tell anyone else.)

I particularly love the John pics when 1. Zelenka and Mckay tell him about the "big gun" or something and he ducks his head with a grin. And 2. When he's about to yell/in mid-yell at Rodney to leave the weapon because he'd seen too many pilots ride their planes right into the ground.

I know, Teyla's shots are all in different lighting, that's why you'd have to do a sort of "one thinking about the other" wp or somehow change the coloring of both shots to be the same. An overlay, maybe?

There are lots of other yummy pics in this ep, though I don't have the caps to provide you. I'm sorry. Use whichever you want. The above are just my favorite John pics in this ep.

I'd love to see this!

Hey, Warrior, I have in my Roxio Cineplayer a feature called frame forward and what it does it captures every frame like when you pause it...and that is how I was able to capture Teyla's Wink! LOL

See if you have such a feature....I'm discovering all these buttons myself! LOL
but for some reason, my pics aren't as clear and vivid as yours....
and I don't have season 2 to cap either...

Bella... the tone and coloration of that wp just screams the sense I get from that scene in the episode. It looked like it was fairly warm in the gym... for more reason than one. (Of course we know it was just a spray bottle... see commentary) but they wanted Teyla to look sweaty. ;)

So, I went back and did another wall from Underground...I think this is my third one already but I just think this picture says a lot! It's the subtle looks between them that is so powerful and they do it so often...and yes..i know..my shippy glasses are extra sensitive to these moments...but still....I just think they are so HOT together! and the undertones are so there!

so, I was thinking..who do you think suspects or sees the mutual attraction that John and Teyla has for each other...and of coarse..has shown it...?

Well, how about Sumner...? okay, so yup...he kind of got killed quickly..but in that scene where John steps forward to Teyla to introduce himself...you see Sumner's expression in the back...YUP...he saw that chemistry and attraction instantly! so, anyone want to give that one a try for the challenge...?

then, there's Bates...Oh, my there are tons of pics with his facial thoughts on this relationship...

and then there's Rodney...I think he suspects...he's no dummie!

OH, CKO...love it...how were you able to put all of those together and still make it look like one is beyond me...I have such a hard time layering...jeepers!

So, I"m in love with the storm...I really like this scene where John is screaming off the top of his lungs at Koyla...one thing I noticed while capping and looking at some of the scenes is that when Teyla told John that they couldn't get there because of the storm..he didn't get upset at all at the fact that he would have to do this on his own...Love that! do you think his protective side was taking over him again..knowing that at least TEYLA..and the others of coarse...at least were safe...? Hmmm..maybe I just have my shippy glasses on again...anywho....I took the cap of Teyla's expression when she heard John's voice and what was going on...and I just couldn't help but tie it in with this pic...enjoy!

OH, my goodness guys....I feel like I should never do another wallpaper again....I was just browsing around trying to find pics for NML and I came across the Gifted site and she has her affiliates and one of them is the Stargate Wallpapers....I can't hotlink the site but here's the name of it...you HAVE TO GO CHECK IT OUT! the Storm was an interesting one...I really wanted to do a wallpaper with this pic where John calls out Teyla in the Eye...I just love it when he does that...and then of coarse the pic of Teyla is the one where she's fighting Sora that I got from New Atlantis and then my own cap of the city of Atlantis right after Rodney activates the shield...

OH, Witchy...a girl after my own heart...I want to try to do something with that scene as well...there are so many great facial expressions from both of them that say so much that you just can't help but do something with it...Love it hon...love it!

I like the first one because it almost looks like they are doing salsa or tango or some form of hot latin dance that just screams in my face! I love Spanish dances...they are just HOT and SEXY!
